A: I work at Best Buy and if you're looking to do gaming, heavy video editing or heavy photoshop this will do it just fine. It has a 6th gen quad core i5, paired with 8 GB of DDR4, and a terabyte of storage. As well as a 4GB graphics card. An i7 is not needed in desktop gaming due to the quad core of a desktop i5. The RAM is DDR4 while most have DDR3, and the graphics card has plenty of dedicated video memory. I would recommend this for high performance use or gaming. I am a big fan of Asus. They make motherboards, monitors, tablets, phones, laptops and more. I am very pleased with their products. Give it a shot!
A: My husband & I both own this computer. We both play World of Warcraft. The graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 980. We are both extremely happy with the graphics card from this computer especially for the price. I hope this helps you.
Q: Would this PC be able to smoothly play games like modded Skyrim and Dark Souls at max settings?
A: I don't play those games but it has no problem at all playing Warcraft Legion at max settings on my 55" Samsung.
A: Yes, easily. Overwatch is very well optimized and can run well on most machines. If you want to be able to run Overwatch on maximum settings, this PC will be more than enough.
Q: Is this computer compatible with Oculus Rift?
A: Yes this system works well with Oculus Rift
Q: Is this a good computer for streaming on Twitch?
A: This computers video card has built in software to work with Twitch, you can even set up a hot key for fast streaming.
A: This desktop is VR ready and you can play games, like GTA 5, Rust, The Crew, and COD: Black Ops 3. So for the price it's a really good for gaming and VR.
Q: Is it upgradable? (upgradable friendly?) if so, would upgrading void anything on the protection?
A: Not really. You can upgrade the ram and possibly swap out the Video card. Unfortunately the motherboard lacks many slots for things like SLI or Crossfire (two or more video cards). Anytime you buy a ready built pc you run the risk of voiding the warranty with upgrades. If that's a concern you may just wanted to built it yours and pass on this one.
