A: For the best results, the arrows should be pointing in the same direction as the signal flow, i.e. away from an output jack and towards an input jack.
Q: would it be bettert use 5 foot 2700k monster cables on LG 55cp6 tv for est picture ?
A: Buy other HDMI cables. They are cheaper. HDMI is a digital signal there is no possible lots of picture quality. It either works or it doesn't. Stop spending so much for no reason.
A: That is a great question and very difficult to answer from a version perspective - but easy enough to address in full. HDMI 2.0 (aka HDMI UHD) was released to the consumer market on September 4, 2013. You state "Fall 2013" as the approximate purchase range/date so you are in one of two camps: 1.) You made the cut so to speak and are HDMI 2.0 capable. 2.) You are HDMI 1.4b capable and a bit further behind [introduced October 2011]. Either way, the short answer is that your cable is out dated since it can not handle HDR content as found in the April 2015 release of version 2.0a. Newer cables are already 2.2 so you'll need to purchase new interconnects to get everything out of that QLED monitor. And don't forget everything in the chain must be HDR content capable (or ATMOS, or Dolby Vision, etc.) if you want it to sound/display best. That means your Audio Video Receiver, UHD Blu-ray Player, the HDMI Cables all need to be compatible with the format your trying to achieve. Hoping this helped. I
A: All current AudioQuest HDMI cables up to 8.0 m. are fully compatible with 4K/60, HDR and HDCP 2.2.
Q: Is this a 2.0a or a 2.0b Cable?????
A: All our HDMI cables conform to the HDMI 2.0b standard.
Q: Why do I need to purchase the AudioQuest cable?
A: You don't. The cheaper Rocketfish cable worked just as good. I've done the test and can verify that they are not worth the extra money.
A: This cable should work with any HDMI connections...Its all about the quality of the internal cables and not the connector.
