HARD GAME Posted by: from: on Batman series is always among the most wanted games we people here have been waiting for. Now we have it! Through the initial play, I want to show you guys my thoughts. I'm not going to review the graphics, or the story line, or the music. Who needs to know that anyway, if you are a big fan in this series. I'm here to tell you what you can do in the game! That is the most exciting part, isn't it? You can free roam in the city. Btw, the Gotham City is five times bigger than the Arkham City. You are free to choose any mission in this free world. All the villains are teamed up against Batman! Big challenge. Their only mission is to sabotage Batman, and of course, your mission is to hunt them down. It is sometimes like a puzzle solving game. For example, you come to a crime scene, you listen carefully to the radio, and there is some distinctive music noise at the background, then when you roaming in the city, you happen to hear that music again, BANG, there goes your clue. You found a lead in the crime.

The Batmobile ruined this game Posted by: from: Los Angeles, CA on This game had so much promise. For the most part, it is a great game. Terrific story, great action, great voice acting, and lots of depth. However, it's newest addition, the batmobile, is what destroys the game. The car itself looks and sounds great, but it handles really bad. I mean shockingly BAD. Then the game forces you in the car constantly. In fact, most of the boss fights require the use of the car. That drove me nuts. I mean, who wants to fight Deathstroke in a stinking tank??? I don't . That's another thing I should bring up. The batmobile has guns on it. Therefore you will find yourself in a lot of "tank" battles. Way too many, if you ask me. At one point, near the end of the main story, you are thrust into 4 consecutive tank battles. Give me a freaking break. Over and over and over again. After while it becomes a huge bore. I play Batman games to soar above the skies, play the detective, fight bad guys and use gadgets, not this tank battle garbage. And don't get me started on the Riddler challenges, which also require the use of the batmobile. Wait until you get a load of his ridiculous race challenges. They are terrible. Take 90% of the batmobile usage out and this would be a terrific game. I really got the impression that Rocksteady just got lazy and ran out of ideas.

A great end to a great series Posted by: from: on None of the Arkham games have been flawless but they have all been close(not counting Origins). The free-flow combat is just as much fun as it's ever been. The addition of team up moves makes the mob combat more interesting as it allows you to switch back and fourth at will. There aren't many predator rooms which was kind of disappointing. The batmobile feels like a mixed bag as it's kind shoe horned in at times. The combat sections are good in the beginning but latter in the game the difficulty ramps way up and there are only a few upgrades you can get for it. The racing sections are also kind of clunky and take a lot of trial and error to get through. The story is well paced with plenty of twists that go into Batman's relationships with the rest of the characters, both ally and villain.

Time passer but not a thriller Posted by: from: on Will say upfront that I haven't played this game much yet (few hours). Graphics are good. At times movement or what to do has been a little confusing. Controls are taking a little while to sort out, basic movement and whatnot is okay but item selection and use of bumper/triggers at times seems simply dumb/poorly designed and fighting can be done by mashing a couple buttons so is not very challenging. Map also doesn't seem very large, maybe more will open up during the game.

Another Great Arkham Game Posted by: from: on Although not quite as good as Arkham Asylum or Arkham City, this is great game that any Batman fan should play. If you like the first two (or three) games, you'll like this one. For the first time in the Arkham series you can drive the Batmobile, but it's not all rainbows and sunshine. The Batmobile is too integral to the game when it should have been used as a novelty. Like games such as The Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption with riding horses, I wish the Batmobile was more of an option with a few missions that require it. It's just used too much.

Fun game, though a bit repetitive from the last Posted by: from: Los Angeles, CA on Only real knock on this is that it is much like the last game. Adding in the Batmobile was a great idea and utilized well enough but the only time it is highly useful is for moving thru the city quickly (via the launch feature, not even just driving) or when the game forces you to use the car. Beyond that - fun just like the previous two and challenging in multiple ways. But not much new outside the story - which was interesting and well enough done.

Continue the Batman Arkham story in Knight Posted by: from: on With the welcome addition of the Batmobile as a major player, Arkham Knight is even better than the last.

Great little game Posted by: from: on Great little game Not to action-packed and hard but also not too easy where you can beat it in a day. Decent little game overall
