Amazing but not perfect Posted by: from: on I had heard so many complaints about the abundance of tank battles I was prepared for the worst. While they were tedious, they were not as bad as I had feared. What I didn't care for was the treatment of some of the villains. As a huge Batman fan I would have liked to see more of the villian story side mission like in Arkham City. Instead, generic missions with random villians seemed to be almost an afterthought (hey, we haven't used Hush yet, how about we put in a simple mission where you rescue Fox and it turns out Hush is the man who kidnaps him but then we never mention it again). It was a nice ending to the Arkham series, but not the best of the releases.

Best of the Batman series Posted by: from: on Batman: Arkham Knight is hands down the best of the Batman series. I will say it has a bit of a learning curve as it pulls all the best aspects from the previous titles and pushes them even further. The hand to hand combat seems very complex at first but gets easier as you progress - and the game does a good job of easing you into new moves. A lot of other people don't really like the Batmobile/Tank side of things, but I really did. It's nice to switch things up from gliding around the city and solving riddles on foot to blasting other vehicles in the Batmobile. There are tons of riddles to solve, characters to unlock, small side quests and surprises. I'm at about 80% finished and have loved the game, don't really want it to end. Go buy it.

Another good Batman Arkham installment Posted by: from: on What can I say that has not been said by the pro reviewers? My take aways. This is a good game in the franchise. I think Arkham City is the best but this is still worthy. The Batmobile mechanics are well done and integrate well tho I feel it is leaned on too heavily. It feels like Batman can't tie his shoe without the Batmobile. The tank battles I felt were fun but I concur it feels like a gimmick and not something I would see in a Batman setting. The story I felt was good. Confusing but didn't get too bothered if I didn't follow it all. A note on DLC's. The Batgirl Matter of Family and Season of Infamy were great. The other short character specific adventures like Catwoman's revenge and the like while good were too short for what they are. Batmobile skins and character skins didn't do much for me. The race tracks were okay. The challenge maps just don't do it for me. The cost of the Batgirl and SOI DLC's are such that if you can, buy the season pass. Best value and it has come down to half of its initial launch price and you can sometimes find it cheaper than that. I got the base game and season pass both on sale. Sure, this game is old news now but is a must have for your library. And none of the PC bugs or performance issues on console.

I Am BatMan Posted by: from: on A lot of people don't like the use of the bat mobile in the game, I think it is awesome especially since it is always just a call away. One thing that is terrible is the in order to finish the game 100% you have to complete riddler missions and that means you have to find all of his trophies, which we already did in the first one. I don't want to have to do it again ( there's like 300) other than that I thought it was great

Different Gameplay but Visually & Thematically Fun Posted by: from: on As many have mentioned the use of the Batmobile is both incredibly odd, frustrating at times but also very, very cool. Driving is relatively easy though there is a learning curve to being able to corner effectively in tight spots. I'm not a fan of driving games so overall I didn't care for the car/tank. More then once I was like, "Man, I'm doing far for damage to the city in this thing than any of the 'bad guys' are. The graphics are visually beautiful and the story is interesting and strong. While driving can be frustrating, especially with the Riddler story line, I would still recommend this game.

Decent Game But... Posted by: from: on Ive played all the previous batman games but would of been nice had it been a bit darker. It just did not feel the same as the previous batman games so a little disappointed on that front. However still a good game to play

Awesome graphics. Posted by: from: on Great game, and great graphics. The story was not as good as the first and second games. Still if you've played the first 2, this is a great game to finish off the story. Visuals really do look improved over the older games.

Great Game Posted by: from: on I have played all of the games in the Arkham Series, and although the driving sequences can get repetitive. I loved the main plot and DLC. Epic conclusion to a great series.

Huge world, unique storyline and a batmobile! Posted by: from: Tyler, TX on Arkham Knight does a great job of bringing the whole series full circle and even adds a new character to the Batman universe. Biggest changes from the previous games is the addition of the batmobile and it does not disappoint! This game is a must have for any fan of the previous Arkham games!!
