Episodes six through nine of Batman Posted by: from: on These are some of the early adventures of Batman. In episode six: The Under Dwellers, there is a crazy man who calls himself the Sewer King and he has a bunch of kids stealing stuff for people on the streets for him. He is very mean to the kids and when he's mad at one of them, then he'll lock them in a room where it's very bright and they don't like the light. So it's up to Batman to save them. In episode seven: P.O.V., there are these three Gotham police officers that are being interrogated. Two of them have the same story and the other has a different story, they are being interrogated about what happened at the warehouse, where there was a robbery and Batman was there. In episode eight: The Forgotten, Bruce Wayne hears that there have been some homeless people that live in Gotham, that have lately been disappearing, so he dies his hair white and pretends to a be homeless man. Then when the guys come to abduct him, one of them catches him by surprises and hits him in the back of the head, thus knocking him out and when he wakes up he has lost his memory. In episode nine: Be a Clown, The Joker shows up at the Mayor's son's birthday party, dressed up as a clown with a big red nose, orange hair on the sides of his head and no hair on top, and a funny looking outfit, so that nobody would recognize him as the Joker, he even makes a different voice. He ends up kidnapping the Mayor's son, so it's up to Batman to save him. I really liked these episodes and I strongly recommend this product.

Great animated show Posted by: from: Lubbock, TX on My advice to any fan of Batman would be to buy up this series while it is still on sale because of "The Dark Knight" release in theatres. I was hesitant to purchase this first volume of this tv show that I used to watch, primarily because I was only 5-6 years old when I thought it was an awesome show. However, I think I have an even greater appreciation for the show now than I did when I was a kid. They just don't make shows like this anymore, and it's easy to see how this series could win Emmys.

As good as the Batman the Animated Series Posted by: from: Naperville, IL on I have to say that I love Batman. He is the best hero out there. This movie is great. I would say that I have watched it like 10 times since I got it. I do not read the comics so I did not know about the Red Hood character. I know of the Joker being one years ago but not this new Red Hood. I dont want to spoil who it is if you have not seen it so I say check it out. I like these movies because they are usually a little more adult orianted with people dying and more mature themes. The extra on this DVD are great. I enjoy the ones that tell you the history of the characters. Would love to see one done about the Death of Batman (Bruce Wayne not really dead but in a different universe) and the rise of Dick Grayson as Batman.

Just about as good as it gets. Posted by: from: Sunnyvale Ca. on The story was really good. It is not too hard to figure out who the Red Hood is but it is still good. My only real complaint is that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hammil should have been doing the voices.

Wicked! Posted by: from: on Volume 2 of the animated series the revolutionized cartoons as we know them! This volume marks the first appearance of the Riddler in animated continuity as well. Also, Zatanna makes her first ever appearance in animation in the episode of the same name. She's always been my favorite female hero, so it was nice to see her finally given the credit she deserves. bottom-line: If you're a returning fan, or a new guy (or girl), trying to see what all the hype was about in the 90's CHECK THIS SET OUT!
