Star Trek [SteelBook] [Blu-ray] [2009]

I love this movie so much, I've re-watched it so many times. Everyone who was cast fits their roll perfectly. I was happy to see Best Buy had a Steelbook version!

Great atmos sound & hdr picture. This one is probably my favorite of the 3. Don't get me wrong they are all great movies. Could potentially be a reference quality movie. If you want to test your surround sound system well here you go. Looked good on my Samsung tv & blu-ray player. Comes with a embossed slip cover digital copy which redeems in 4k bonus disk & a blu-ray disk.

Glad I bought this on Black Friday but the only reason I am not giving this product 5 stars (you will notice I gave it a 4 and not a 1 because I'm not going to trash this product with a one-star review over the following issue which is very likely Paramount's fault.) is because when I opened it at home, I found out that instead of what was supposed to be a 4K Digital Copy+4K UltraViolet code for Star Trek (2009), it had a 4K Digital Copy+4K UltraViolet code for Interstellar. And before anyone says "well, you bought a used copy." False, I DID NOT buy a used copy on Black Friday as Best Buy DOES NOT sell used copies of movies or used copies of television shows, not even on Black Friday. This happened to me with a brand new, factory sealed copy which I had to exchange for another one to make sure I got the correct 4K Digital Copy voucher. Again, I firmly believe that the guilty party for this is Paramount and ONLY Paramount and no one else. That's why I am giving this 4 stars and not 1 star. Aside from that one issue, the discs were in perfect condition and I look forward to seeing the 4K UltraHD version of this movie since this is the only Star Trek movie that didn't result in a double-dip. If you buy this, make sure the code voucher is correct. If you buy this and get an Interstellar 4K Digital Copy code voucher, exchange it for another one so you get the Star Trek (2009) 4K Digital Copy code voucher.
