Best Buy Customer Reviews

WOW Posted by: from: on First off let me say I am glad I purchased these over the Bose QC35. I ordered the Studio Wireless online from BestBuy but canceled the order and went to the store to purchase on 8/19/16. I have been enjoying the quality of their design and sound daily. I've read online comments about the ear cushion deteriorating but that is the most concerning thing at this point that I had until recently I discovered replacement ear cushions are available online. The noise cancellation on these headphones isn't as good as the Bose QC35 but other than that I think the sound quality over different genres is outstanding. Just my 2 cents.

Sounds Great Posted by: from: on It was between this and the Bose QC35 the tie breaker is these go $100 cheaper both have their pros and cons. The Beats Studio has superior bass to the Bose and the Bose just can't handle the base of electronic and hip hop music. The Bose has superior noise cancelling the Beats can't compete and is merely a gimmick attempt at noise cancelling in comparison. But its $100 cheaper and sounds better in the type of music I often listen too but if you are getting headphones to block out the world around you the Bose might be a better bet but you might be disappointed in the sound which biased Bose fanboys won't admit to.

Great pair of Bluetooth headphones Posted by: from: on I know beats have their stigma but I bought these as an open box deal and for the price compared to other Bluetooth over ear headphones they are good. The sound quality is good but the bass is pretty heavy as I know beats can be. With electronic and hip hop music these are a good choice, but if you listen to rock, metal or classical these will probably not represent the music very well. The battery life I found to be very good and they charge really quickly. Comfort is also good but after a couple of hours the material can become a little hot especially if you wear them outside. The only big downfall I have with these headphones is that once the battery dies, even though you can connect the headphones directly to whatever you are listening to with the included aux cable, you still can't use them. The battery has to have a charge to use. Overall if you are looking for a good pair of wireless headphones, these are a great choice. But if you are looking just for the best sound quality and don't care so much about the wireless, you can find wired options that definitely have better sound quality.

great wireless headphones with ANC Posted by: from: minnesota on I had been looking for headphones to use while mowing the lawn. I finally settled on the Beats Studio, especially during the sale! Build Quality: Great. The ear cups are very soft, and the entire headphone feels very solid with a good finish. The fit and finish is great. Features: The headphones are both wireless or wired (with the the wired portion removable). The headphones will fold up for storage, with a nice "click" when they are folding. Very solid, and doesn't feel like they are fragile by any means. The noise canceling feature is awesome. I use these for mowing the lawn, and there is a huge difference while wearing these. I have tested the ANC by turning the headphones on and off while still wearing them, and there is a VERY noticeable difference between on and off. There is also an ANC only mode, which is stronger noise canceling than when listening to music, but I have never used this mode as I always listen to music. You can also take phone calls from the headphones. If you receive a phone call while wearing them, you will hear the ringtone in your headphones and you can answer by just pressing the "B" button on the outside of the headphones, and talk. It uses the noise cancelling microphones that are built in. Very nice. There are a few buttons on the headphones: Power, volume up and down, and a "B" button which is multi purpose. Play, pause, skip forward or backward, or answer a phone call. Overall, great headphones with great wireless sound. Battery seems to last quite a while, as advertised.

Great sound and good value Posted by: from: on My purchase decision came down to between the Beats and it's equivalent Bose headphones. While I would lean a little bit more towards the Bose due them being a little bit lighter/comfortable fitting for me the overall price difference between what I paid on for the Beats versus what I would have paid for the Bose made these worth it. The noise cancelation feature works quite well as my office can get a bit noisy...esp. in the afternoon. As for the sound I think the Beats had a slightly better lower end bass sound range than the Bose, but overall I really do like the sound quality I get from these headphones. Battery life has been good...though I do have to remember to turn them off unlike my previous head phones (which did not have active noise canceling). Overall very happy with this purchase and would make it again.

Great for the gym and airplanes Posted by: from: on I use them at the gym all the time because I don't have to worry about the cord getting in the way and ripped out. I also travel with them and used them at the airport and air plane. The noise cancellation blocked out the sound of the airplane and babies crying on the plane, which was very convenient. You can easily fall asleep in them because of their comfort, I have several times.

Best beats yet. MAKE SURE TO UPDATE THEM Posted by: from: on I was very pleased when I took these home and used them for a few hours. The sound quality is great. Not toooooo much bass, good mids and highs, overall a great pair of headphones. They are also VERY comfortable. And that matte black design is beautiful, although it doesn't attract fingerprints, it will attract oils. The noise canceling is actually a HUGE step up from the executives, my previous pair of beats. When nothing is playing, there is a faint hiss, but as soon as something starts to play, the hiss goes away and isn't noticeable at all. Some things people are complaining about are minor and can likely be fixed with AN UPDATE AVAILABLE ON THE BEATS WEBSITE. You can plug your beats into your computer with the charger cable included and find an update for your beats on the website. It more than likely fixes your problems with them if there's errors out the box.

Headphone with Noise Cancellation with Bluetooth Posted by: from: on I was searching for a headphone with good noise cancellation with wireless capability. After reading reviews decided to go with Beats Studio Wireless headphone. Noise cancellation is good, not as good as Bose QC 25 but decent enough. I used the product for a month and was happy with the performance. I returned the headphone due to following reasons: 1. Battery lasts for around 20hrs on a full charge, however even if not listening to music, if you do not turn off the headphone explicitly it keeps the noise cancellation on and that drains the battery. 2. No way to turn off noise cancellation and use it with line in to conserve battery. Turned out to be a big inconvenience when on a long flight to India lasting over 20hrs. 3. Without charge the headphone does not work even with line in. Guess that is same for all wireless headphones in the market. Not sure if there is any product out there with good noise cancellation and wireless capability which works as a normal headphone without the above features when charge is over with direct 3.5mm line in.

Wanted to like them but overall a miss Posted by: from: on These headphones have all the features you could want but overall they come up short on the execution. Pros - wireless Bluetooth works well and battery life seemed reasonable sound quality is good (not great) aesthetically they look great fold up Cons- -#1 con is that one ear just randomly stopped working, very bad sign for ~$400 headphones with 0 wear and tear on them. a good tap on that side got it working again temporarily and then it went out again for good. not cool beats, not cool. - uncomfortable after about half hour or hour, I kept needing to take them off and rub my ears (I don't think I have particularly big ears or anything) - while they look great, overall they feel kind of cheap plastic feel, one decent drop or bad packing and they seem like they'd be done for, which for the price is concerning. - even though they fold up the case and all is very bulky, not a major issue cause I expect it, but the bose QC going flat works out better for packing than these. Overall unreliability and pain wearing them led me to return and go with the Bose QC, sacrificing the wireless feature for quality and comfort - and I'm very glad i did! the noise cancelling on the Bose just can't be beat and the comfort after hours of use was excellent. For reference, the point of this purchase was primarily for something to use for air travel.
