Great Sound, Not Great Quality Posted by: from: on I'm currently on my fourth pair of of Beats (bluetooth) Wireless Earbud Headphones in under a year. The sound quality is excellent and they are reasonably comfortable to wear. I use them exclusively for running and listening to music with my Apple Watch. The first pair lasted about 8 months before it simply stopped turning on after I charged it. The second pair lasted about one month before the same thing happened--it would not turn on after being charged. The third pair started acting bizarrely after 6 uses--it would randomly turn the volume up and down, the controls on the headphones would not respond, and I couldn't stop the volume from randomly going up and down even when manually operating it from the Apple Watch or on other devices. My advice if you get these (there isn't a lot of competition yet) is to be prepared to use the warranty--keep receipts, boxes, etc. Best Buy used to offer it's product replacement plan on these headphones but doesn't any longer, indicating that this likely isn't an isolated issue.

Absolute worst workout headphones Posted by: from: on I am not on my 4th pair of Powerbeats 2 - obviously you will ask if I dislike them so much, why I have had four pairs. I still have them only because I keep returning them because they constantly break. I have returned to Best Buy as well as Apple directly. Each of my Power Beats suffers from the same issue - these are marketed as workout headphones, however they are anything but that for any person that even breaks a sweat. The placement of the command unit is in such a place that any sort of sweat will trickle down the left wire and fry the unit. At first the volume will stop working, then all the functions will cease to work until finally you can n o longer charge them. Since Apple wont refund me I will just keep returning them until I am out of my one year warranty. There are many other better options on Best Buys site, including a brand which coats their headphones in Liquipel for this main reason. I do have three pairs of Beat over ear headphones as well and have never had issues with those. If I could give these powerbeats a zero I would, and I would say stay away.

Don't buy for athletic use Posted by: from: on I bought these at Christmas 2015 and got a great deal from Best Buy. By July 2016 the volume control and microphone housing fell apart. No problem, I took them to Best Buy, they sent them off for warranty repair and the repair was REFUSED, said the damage wasn't covered under warranty. I guess the "glue" or whatever doesn't hold up in Texas heat if you exercise outside. Oddly, BB didn't offer to repair them even for a price. Weird. I rubberbanded it together the redneck way, and will still use them but NEVER AGAIN will I buy this product, especially at such a high price.

Good Pair of Earbuds from a Great Company Posted by: from: on With the Powerbeats 2 Wireless you are essentially getting what you paid for. A good pair of bluetooth earbuds from a great company. With the premium price you pay for Beats you are getting their signature sound, brand recognition, and support. To say they are the best bluetooth earbuds would be a subjective statement since these earbuds suit my purposes and needs and I have not tested all of the bluetooth earbuds on the market. Give these earbuds a shot and if you do not like them return them to get your money back under the purchase agreement. We all have different tastes and preferences. I rarely believe a product should receive five stars since I always believe there is room for improvement. A good product overall with no complaints. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.

Really 3.5 Stars Posted by: from: on Right now is a difficult time to find wireless headphones that are ear buds (not over-the-ear) and that don't have the stupid yoke around your neck. These were the only ones I was able to find (at this time). Overall, a decent set of ear buds. Here are my thoughts. Pros: Wireless so no more entanglements with my bag and/or person. Sound is good. Options are nice. Decent battery life (4 days to/from work w/ an average commute of approx 60 min round trip each day. Might get all 5 days. Just need to try it and see if they die during my commute.) Easily paired with bluetooth devices. Cons: Kinda bulky. The ear pieces tend to get a little uncomfortable over longer periods of time. The signal can be sketchy depending on how far your device is from the headphones (it's been spotty while in my bag - which isn't really 'far' from the headphones.) Price - $200 is A LOT for headphones. I don't care who's name is on them. It's not new technology and it isn't something that's 'state-of-the-art'. I'm guessing the price will come down as others introduce similar products.

Big sound in a small package Posted by: from: on I bought myself a set of these and the wife wanted them also. I was impressed with the sound quality from such a small ear bud speaker. It has more low end than the Bose I had at a better price point. Bluetooth allows roughly 30 feet from my device before starting to cut out in a clear open space. A little less in a walled in enviroment. And roughly last 2 hours on a charge which is perfect for gym use.

Good headphones, not necessarily good for the gym Posted by: from: on Bought these to use at the gym. Good sound, but spotty Bluetooth connection at times. ***DEFINITELY NOT SWEATPROOF***, sweat still can get inside the ears. Not the best fit even with the flexible earhooks. Not noise-cancelling. The fact that it's wireless is probably the biggest plus.

Phenomenal Earbuds!!! Posted by: from: on I've gone through many, many different kinds of headphones, none I loved, none that I felt fit me good, none that I've felt comfortable with or ones that didn't fall out of my ear or didn't make a popping noise when I tried to sing or dance or workout to the beat of my music. These headphones are amazing, I was really really nervous to buy them because of my past experience with other headphones, but this has definitely been the best buy ever!!!! They're a little pricey but totally worth it! I can work out in them, sing as loud as I want and not hear myself like other headphones and they're still comfortable. They are amazing!!!!

These Beats are fabulous! Posted by: from: on I love my beats. I use them when I workout. They stay put and out of my way. It's easy to contol the volume while working out without having to mess with my phone. Highly recommend this product.

Stays In Ear Posted by: from: on After trying 2 other brands (including the jaybird X) this was the best I've had that actually stay in your ear. I run outside 3-4 miles at a time. Sweat alot. This met my needs. The side with the controls come out a little but its not annoying. I could nit-pick little things, but the main purpose is to stay in my ear thru sweat and movement. I had almost lost hope & was looking into InEarMonitors. Glad Beats released these when they did. Bluetooth range is just as good as Jaybirds ~30ft.
