Best Buy Customer Reviews

Don't buy! Posted by: from: on I bought these for my boyfriend a couple days before his bday, so he opened them a week later, 10 after opening them (and using a few times) they stopped working! He didn't even get to use the battery completely, we charged them and when he turned them on they showed they were full battery and turned off a minute later. I called Best Buy and because I'm a couple days off the 15 return policy they didn't care and wouldn't help me at all. I looked this problem up and everyone is having this problem, even with complete new ones like myself. Will never buy from Best Buy again. I worked at countless stores and the managers always worked with customers on exchanges like this to keep their customers happy. They didn't even care one bit.

The best wireless bluetooth over the ears! Posted by: from: on I did some extensive research and tried out a bunch of different headphones. My criteria was that they were wireless bluetooth head phones, and after reading a lot of bad reviews initially on the Beats headphones, I was pleasantly surprised how awesome these sounded. They sounded better than most if not all that I tried out in the over and on the ear category. They offer pretty suffiecient noise isolation, and the highs, mids and lows were the most balanced. I hear that these newer Beats are loads better than the previous models, which sounded like garbage. For those that are learey about using Beats, these are incredibly good, and are now much more reasonably priced then when they first came out, so I think they are worth it. I would almost venture to say that I preferred these over it's big brother the Beats Studio Wireless. I found the Studio Wireless Headphones to be too bassy and found the Active Noise Cancellation distracting and seemed to effect the overall balance of the sound. I also felt like it helped in low frequency noise outside of the headphones, but other than that, did not provide any more noise cancellation. I felt the Solo 2 Wireless headphones provided balanced sound, great low end bass (and I like bass), clear highs and mids, and good overall noise cancellation without the high frequency active noise cancellation.... The other plus to this headset over the studios is that if it runs out of batteries, you can plug the aux cable and continue to listen to them as regular wired headphones. The Studios, you can't. When the Studios run out of batteries, they go dead and there's nothing you can do about it except charge them up. Get these Solo 2 Wireless headphones. Apple/Beats made huge improvements and I was a hater before.....

Great! Posted by: from: on The battery last super long, and the sound quality is fantastic. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and use them every day, and they work great. I used to hate my wired head phones because they would get yanked out of my ears sometimes but these dont have that problem. Love 'em

Good, not great. Posted by: from: on The Solo 2's are probably not the absolute best wireless on-ear headphones on the market but they are nevertheless pretty good. Right now Apple is selling them at a discount in order to empty out their inventory. New Beats in the near future? Perhaps. But now is the time to get some pretty good headphones for quite a bit of a discount. I paid $179 for mine and I was not disappointed. These headphones are great for the gym or just about anywhere else. I only gave them 4 stars because I think they could've been a couple of notches louder. But nevertheless they sound pretty good. Bass doesn't thump as loud as it does in the Studio wireless but it is still very adequate. Very portable and attractive headset.

Great sound quality and very portable Posted by: from: Laurel, MD on I turned to the Solo 2 wireless after owning the Studio Wireless. The studio wireless were a great headset with noise cancelling, but were too large for me to wear comfortably while working out. I was initially weary of getting a pair without noise cancelling. However, the ear cups fit great and make a great seal and I did not miss the noise cancelling of the larger, more expensive set. The Solo2 wireless are also definitely lighter and more suitable for working out.

Terrible Posted by: from: on These are terrible. If your music isn't super bass heavy, basically trap music (if you don't know what that it look it up), you're SOL I listen to metal/rock and the like and there's absolutely no midrange for the bass. You have to turn the volume ALL THE WAY UP to get any kind of performance and what you do get it just blah at best. The Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones are OKAY for about $50. 200-300 is quite possible the most ludicrous hing I've ever heard of. PLEASE skip on these. Absolute NOT worth it.

great product for great price Posted by: from: on looks cool. feels very comfortable. good noise canceling. can travel pretty far before losing sound quality. bass is decent but not as deep as bose headphones, that's the only reason for deducting a star.

Beats vs Bose Posted by: from: on I have a wired pair of over the ear Bose headphones, noise canceling, which I have been using for nearly 8 years. These have been a great pair of headphones. I then started using my wired Apple ear buds more and more and soon realized the cord was a major pain to deal with thus Bluetooth became a first choice for a new set of ear buds. Having this wireless feature has been a huge plus while being active and enjoying my music. I then decided to upgrade to Beats on the ear noise canceling headphones which are Bluetooth but also option for wired. I absolutely love these headphones. I use the wire connection if the activity warrants it or Bluetooth as well. The headphones sound great, very comfortable, and fold up into a compact bag to carry around if necessary. Yes these are costly but look out for sales and coupons to bring these down to a more reasonable level.

Awesome sound Posted by: from: on I've had a lot of different headphones in my life and nothing compares to the crisp sound of the beats. Well worth the price. Only bad thing is everybody else always want to use them.
