Distance Posted by: from: on Head phones actually sound great but they begin to get uncomfortable after an hour of use. They also don't have that great of range. 10 feet is about the max distance I was able to get from them from my laptop and phone. Not for the audiophile but an everyday music listener who wants to cut the cord from their laptop or phone it's a good purchase.

Good buy Posted by: from: on Good sound and good Bluetooth range. Charge last almost a whole week(I use them every day for about 2 hours) The ear muffs do not fully enclose ear which leads to minimal noise cancellation and them falling off while moving, lifting etc. Beats studios are bigger and more expensive but are a better purchase for someone looking to use over ear headphones for exercise, etc. I would recommend these headphones for casual at home use but not for athletic type needs. I use my studios at the gym.

Many Upsides, Few Downsides Posted by: from: on Let me start by saying these headphones sound great. I think that they feel fairly comfortable and they completely block out noise. I use them primarily at the gym and it is really nice to not have to listen to the techno music they play or hear people talking about nonsense. That being said, the headphones tend to be on the heavier side. In addition, I find that if I don't wear a hat with the headphones on they slide around a bit. It would be nice if they fit a little tighter. I also find that wearing these for extended time tends to be hot and a little sweaty. That's likely due to the material they used on the earpieces. The sound quality is excellent and what to be expected from beats. I bought these for $250 and thought it was a good deal. Do yourself a favor and wait until they hit $200. This happens several times a year from what I have seen. You won't be disappointed. I bought the blue and grey active version. It doesn't say that they are water proof, but I have gotten caught in the rain with these on and they survived just fine. All in all a great buy.

Quality for the price you pay Posted by: from: Texas on After reading several of the other reviews for the headphones , I was expecting to be disappointed by them but I wasn't. The audio quality is very good, even though it doesn't have any active noise cancellation it does a good job of it. I was able to stomach the price tag because they were on sale , I had some reward points to use and was able to walk out the door with them for $180. I have two complaints. One is the power button, way too small considering that the Beats2wireless earbuds have a bigger button. Second complaint are the hinges. They seem a little flimsy and seem to pop free with the slightest pressure when folded but hold well when extended. I like the fact that you can plug in the headphone hav and use it as a hands free headset. It has a pretty good battery life and they do tend to loosen up on the pressure once you have worn them a for a good awhile.

Beats Solo 2 wireless Posted by: from: on An excellent purchase. Great sound quality, deep base and crisp highs. Initial charge took less then an hour and lasted fit days. This is an on ear headphone but it is a comfortable fit. Ear fatigue set in about 4.5/5 hours after continuous use and only took a 20 min break before putting them back on. Great fit for active people.

Decent headphones/not the best Posted by: from: on The Bluetooth feature is nice for running with no wires. The battery life is very good. The sound is subpar though with little bass. I've used many other headphones that are better.

Another Beats Headphone Posted by: from: on Both of my kids have had the beats headphone set that are wired to the phone. They loved them and used them while working on homework and on school trips. Eventually they were both broken and duck taped and now each is getting a wireless for their birthday. My son was first and he loves it. Uses it more than anything except his phone!!!
