Great little heater! Heats two rooms.

We only use space heaters to heat our home (1200 sqft southern bungalow) since gas is so expensive. We purchased an expensive infrared heater for the kitchen, hall, and living room and this heater for the bedrooms. When placed between the two bedrooms and the office (the doors are near eachother) using the oscillating function and it will keep them right around 55 degrees when it is well below freezing outside, which is fairly impressive for a tiny heater. I'm guessing that if i had two more i could heat my entire house just as well as a furnace with these (see house size above). If you are using this as a supplementary heater it should exceed your expectations.
I enjoy the thermostat feature. It will turn off when the area reaches the desired temperature. If you want it to run constantly just turn it all the way up (85 degrees is the max).
The fan feature works. It doesn't blow cold air but it circulates the room well.
My children have knocked it over several times and it has shut off without fail. It also hasn't broken because of falling and the oscillating feature continues to work. They have also pushed the buttons when they weren't supposed to quite a few times and nothing crazy has happened.
If they are still carried next year i'm definitely buying more.

good heat, but loud

This heater has good control of heat, but it is pretty loud, and not in a white noise sort of way, but a straining way. Not bad if you don't leave it on while trying to sleep!

Not economical, not energy efficient

This heater is a very good heater if you don't care about your electric bill. But it does not have a "lo" setting. It does have an "eco smart" setting that is not very smart. It will not kick in until the room is really warm. Up until then you are using the maximum amount of energy. I was very disappointed because of this.

Love this little heater!

This little guys is so much more powerful than I expected it to be. It gets my rather large, not well insulated, attic bedroom feeling warm in less than ten minutes. The auto shut-off feature when it reaches a certain temperature gives me peace of mind, as I don't fear that it'll overheat. I haven't seen any huge change in the electric bill either, and I've had this for a whole winter now. I don't keep it overnight, mind you, just enough to make the room comfortable while I'm up and about, shutting off before heading to bed.

This heater is great it heats up our little apartment really quick. Its pretty quite, and I love the fact that it moves back and forth. the only con it there is a delay in turning it off so you have to stand there to make sure its actually off

This little heater is great. We bot it for our 3 year old's room. It's not loud, heats the whole room (standard size bedroom) and is not hot to the touch. My wife steals it during the day on the weekends when she is doing stuff around the house. The remote is great too. Couple of things: 1) their is a little lag time on the oscillate button and on/off button. If you just push the button and wait a second, it will work fine. 2) There was a "new heater" smell for the first week or so, but that quickly went away with more use. All in all, I am extremely happy with my first space heater. We are setting our thermostat lower now that we don't have to compensate for heating our daughter's room. Great buy!

I bought 2 before the polar vortex of Jan 2014. They keep the bedrooms nice and toasty. Because the heating system tried to keep up to heat the first level of the house.

Great Space Heating Solution
Posted by: grenBB from: on
I use this for my 2BR apartment and it provides quick heating solution for just when it gets too cold in the living room. I strive to not pay traditional heating costs during winter (good that I live in SoCal) and this product serves its purpose.
The remote control feature is very handy in times when all you wanna do is to bundle (or cuddle up) up to keep warm. This also comes with several settings and options from energy saver to automatic on at 40F to timed usage and adjustable heat temp.
Just a heads-up, don't use extension power cords or surge protectors on this product for safety reasons. If powered through a mid-range surge protector, it will automatically shut down...The user manual only warned against the use of a power strip.
Two thumbs up for this product.
