Good but a lot of reused assets
This is a solid JRPG for the 3DS. The gameplay has been improved from the first game with the jobs being better balanced although it still plays similarly. You can now choose to go into another battle immediately if you beat an enemy group in a single turn which gives you an multiplier on money, exp, and job points. There's also been a minigame added in which you make Chomper toys for money. The story is nice, but not too surprising. Unlike the first game, you now have to choose between two jobs at several points making your playthrough a bit more unique than in the first game. You will be able to get all the jobs eventually though. Unfortunately, the english voice acting sounds like it was recorded at low quality (there's always the option for Japanese voices), a lot of assets (enemies, backgrounds, maps, etc.) were recycled from the first game, and the music isn't as nice as the first game's because of the developer being unable to get the same composer.

Another excellent CE
The Bravely series has some of the best Collector's Editions in gaming. The packaging is great, and this time you get a soundtrack and art book. Only complaint is this CE did not come with cards like the original did. Doesn't hurt that the Bravely series is even better at being Final Fantasy than Final Fantasy has been lately. Really high quality 3DS JRPG. As a note, it looks like Best Buy's description mentions the European mini figure of Agnes. The American version of the game does not include the figurine though, just the art book and soundtrack.

Great game and beautiful collectors edition!
This game is a must-have, especially for those who had previously played Bravely Default! The collector's edition itself is really nice, with a huge artbook which surprised by how large it was in size. Some of the negative reviews posted on here are due to censorship. While I agree it is lame, especially how we did not get the Agnes figure in the US collector's, it does not warrant the low reviews just for censorship.
