A: This juicer is VERY easy to clean. The answer to your question about the plastic surface and the acidic residue all depends on what you're juicing. Carrots for example will slightly stain the plastic. This is unavoidable. Plastic can be easily stained. Will your juicer still look very new after you clean it? YES! Or you can go with the stainless steel model but that still has plastic parts. You have to look at it from this perspective. Do you clean the inside of your toaster out so it still looks brand new on the inside? Do you clean out your oven so well that anyone who uses it will think it's never been used before? Do you clean the inside of your cars muffler? You're buying a Juicer to Juice. The plastic is going to get stained but only slightly. This is what it is. If you clean your juicer after every use it WILL still look brand new. If you keep waiting on buying one you'll never enjoy it.
Q: If I want to juice a beet does it need to be cooked first?
A: Hey Dennis, No need to cook your beet first. I typically peel it first, and place the whole thing in the juicer. Hope this helps!
Q: Can this make oj? I saw you might need special juicers for oj.
A: Yes, makes EXCELLENT OJ
Q: Is this a cold press juicer?
A: No, this is not a cold press juicer.
A: The higher end model that is stainless has the added feature of more motor speeds. We bought both models for two different homes and honestly I would suggest there is little value to the extra speeds. The two speed model does everything you need and runs like a top
A: Low speed is at 6,500 RPM High speed is at 12,000 RPM. Low speed produces more juice from soft fruits High speed is used for harder fruits like apples or pineapples
Q: is it able to juice sugar can?
A: It'll extract juice out of sugar cane provided it's peeled and cut into small pieces.
