Great juicer at a really reasonable price Posted by: from: Reno, NV on I have had this juicer for a few months now, and when I first got it, I did a week-long juice fast with it. So I was using it almost constantly from the day I bought it. I still juice almost daily, and I can honestly say that this juicer can handle just about anything. I juice everything from kale to melons to whole beets and apples, and it is incredible to see how quickly and efficiently it handles everything I throw its way. The pulp usually seems to be relatively dry, which means that I am getting most of the juice out of my veggies. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product and have not had any issues with it yet. Its easy to take apart and clean, and it doesn't take up too much counter space. This is easily one of the best investments that I have made. If you are thinking about getting a juicer, I highly recommend this one for the price, durability, longevity and efficiency with which it juices, especially if you are like me and are planning on juicing often.

Work Horse Posted by: from: Hayward, California on I have used this juicer for little over a month. I am new to the plant based lifestyle and admittedly, I was worried about spending the money on a gimmick, it's a nice addition to my already spotless kitchen. I've grown to really love this thing. It juices quickly and efficiently. It is a little loud, but, it sits on my granite counter top, so I guess that is to be expected. I researched juicers and found that this was the best option in this price range. I am currently doing the Reboot (fat sick and nearly dead) juice diet and it's working. 1-2 times a day, this thing juices kale, celery, whole cucumbers, whole granny smith apples, etc. I have never once had a problem. It's actually kind of fun...reminds me of the woodchipper scene from "Fargo". The only thing I do not enjoy is cleaning it. Every piece of this thing needs to be cleaned after every use, which is to be expected. It's not a big deal, but, I am very thorough and I take the plastic pieces apart, scrub them in the sink and then run them through a light wash on the top tray in the dish washer. Overall, I could not be more pleased. If you are not going to commit to the diet, do not waste your money. If you are definitely going to do this, then you will love this thing.

Great machine for entry level juicing! Posted by: from: Davidsonville, Maryland on I got this juicer for my first juicing experience because I have a great Breville convection toaster oven. I've been very pleased. The instructions were easy to follow. The juicer leaves very dry pulp. I feel great drinking the juice I make, full of dark, leafy greens, healthy veggies, ginger root, and a couple different fruits. The only complaint is some of the veggies, like broccoli, get stuck and gum up the system. The clear cover makes it easy to see where the problem is. If the item is not juiced all the way, I just put it back through the chute. I line the pulp container with a plastic produce bag to keep clean up easy. I do not put the food pusher or the blade part through the dishwasher, washing those by hand using the brush, but the clear plastic pieces go in and come out nicely.

Awesome Juicer!! Posted by: from: Colorado on Got this juicer about a month ago. LOVE IT! Although there are many pieces to this machine, it's worth it. Actually, being able to take it all apart it makes it really easy to clean. It is kind of bulky, but I assure you, it does an amazing job getting all the juice out of a fruit or vegetable. It does not however, do a good job juice things like wheatgrass and parsley, but usually you need a different kind of juicer for grasses and herbs. All in all, I'd say it's worth the price. I'm very happy with this buy.

Great product! Posted by: from: Plain City, Ohio on Juicing is the best way to add fruits and vegetables in your diet. This machine is a wonder. I purchased it at the end of June beginning of July and have lost 10 lbs. just by adding more juice to my diet. I recommend watching "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead" by Joe Cross (on Netflix). He uses the same juicer and he uses it in his car to show people that juicing should be a way of life and that it is pretty easy to use and it's a quality product. Two thumbs up!

Bang for your buck Posted by: from: Houston, TX on I have NEVER juiced before but I wanted to make sure I was getting the best product for my money. After reading countless reviews just as you are right know, they say the toughest part of juicing is the clean up. There is aways going to be a clean up process but this model makes it very easy. The pulp doesn't get into places that are difficult to clean. When you rinse it with water before you wash it the pulp is gone. It contains well and if you use a bag inside of the trash shoot you just saved yourself time. This isn't a 1,000 juicer so you can't just throw the products you want to juicer and push it down fast like on tv. To get the most out of your juicer just take your time and push it a little slower. After all fruits and veggies aren't cheap so you might as we take your time and get more bang for your buck. Best juicers for beginners!!! P.S. Im using my iPhone so do be hard on my spelling and punctuation

Very good juicer for fruits and veggies! Posted by: from: Tucson AZ on I have been using this juicer for a couple of months now and love it! It is so fast and easy to use. Cleanup is pretty easy too. Love the pitcher that holds back the foam when you pour! I juice about 1-2 times a week, so time will tell if it holds up and continues to do the job as well. But so far so good. I also have a Huron masticating juicer that I really liked in the beginning, since it made juice with so little waste...But is a bit slower and over time seems to not to separate as well. The juice is highly fibrous even when using the finer strainer. I started needing to strain the juice after juicing more and more. But the huron is more versatile. It can make almond milk and also wheat grass which the Breville doesn't. But for quick and easy juicing on a daily basis, the Breville is great!

real juicer Posted by: from: los angeles on Well, I saw this on Fat Sick and Dead, and was interested enough to go to BestBuy to see it, and it was really good made thing. Basically when you think of this kind of juicer, you imagine how everything is leaking, everything is all over the place basically. This is a no bs juicer, I am even worried.. instead of eating fruits, we just put it in juicer and drink it, there is NO JUICE in garbage, and if fruit is cut enough (small) you don't even put pressure into it, it takes it much less than a second to make juice out of it. But the good thing of having such juicer is that you can throw lot of "green" stuff there which you wouldn't eat and it enriches the juice with flavor and useful stuff.. Aslo this comes with good recipe book with soups and etc.. Also the pitcher is really good one, it's easy to pour with it so that only the pure juice comes out.

Worth the money Posted by: from: Naperville, IL on If you have the time and patience to clean up after just one glass of juice, this to you will be the best thing invented. There are 4 things that you have to disassemble and clean after using this, even if its just one glass of juice. It is amazing however, in that you literally can put an entire small apple and get juice from it within 5 seconds. I've heard of other juicers having mixed reviews because of problems with the motor or it just not juicing properly. I have had this for almost a year and now i only want to buy Breville appliances.

Wonderful tool, minus the hyperbole Posted by: from: on OK I got this juicer just as soon as it came out. I read all the reviews of all the juicers I could find, and it was clear that Breville was the best way to go. And the raves were all about the previous model which had less power and only one speed. I love the juicer but I guess I was expecting a divine product by the review I read. I'll just say it is good quality without drooling all over about it... PRO'S: ~Great Power ~easy to clean, (do it sooner rather than let stuff dry on) ~smartly designed electrical plug ~motor cannot run if parts are not locked together (for safety reasons) ~product has few angles and many curves, which makes cleaning easier since pulp/juice can be hard to reach where there are corners ~two speeds: fast for power, slow for soft items ~it really can make 8oz juice in 5 seconds! ~huge food chute can accommodate an entire apple... you save time not needing to cut many things pre-juicing. CON'S: ~tomatoes - even on slow setting, the juicer doesn't efficiently grab all the juice of a tomato. perhaps do tomatoes first, then recycle the 'pulp' back through juicer to get more juice ~even though the plastic is durable and dark colored (to distract against discoloration) carrots do tend to stain it immediately. The con's are really quite trivial but I thought I should mention them since I was expecting pure perfection based on the reviews I read. I love the product and I would not swap it for anything. Besides, it is extremely affordable for what you get out of it!
