Q: What is the average battery life from a full charge?
A: Average battery life whilst playing video and multitasking (my regular daily stuff) 5-6 hrs. If you are just using the internet or typing it would be much longer
A: Ok here we go...this is the most misrepresented product i have ever encountered...the first thing that popped up on mine was a message on you tube telling me "This computer has wifi adapter issues" and boy does it...i am returnung mine today...the best info i could find is that it is a so called "special edition"....well it is special, lots of unwanted surprises....as far as it being an i3 or i7....your guess is as goid as mine...
A: It does have a backlit Keyboard and you can enable it or disable it to extend your battery life.
Q: On Inspirion model 17353-1951with 128 ssd, is it possible for consumer to change ssd to 255?
A: I have upgraded mine to 480GB. You need a spare 16GB USB drive and Windows Recovery Tool

A: No? it's a windows computer...so window store apps. If it's google play music then yeah
Q: Is this a good laptop for school?
A: Yes. I used mine to complete a course that I took for certification. Now I use it for my business. Quick start up and long battery life. Charge up time is short. I have had two Lenovo's and my first is through three of my daughter's first four years of college.
A: No it doesn't detach. It flips around to lay flat behind it like a note book. I personally love this feature.
