Q: Can I play PC games on this type of computer?
A: it really depends on the games minecraft yes Call of duty that would be a no. so if you want simple games such as minecraft, poker, chess games on the pc but as for hard core games that rely on a good graphics card and processor you might have a problem
Q: can i install a2nd hard drive
A: Yes you can. I installed a second drive with no problem.
A: you will need a DDR3L type of memory and it will have to be the stock memory other wise you will have to remove the old memory
Q: WINDOWS 8
A: No, touchs screens are built with sensors for the touch. In the old days it was built with beams of light where your fingers intercepted the beams. Now I thing it's newer technology but exactly what I don't know... runs like a smart phone touch I think. But no a normal monitor won't work. Hope this helps.
A: Had a similar issue and installed the new Norton security suite. There is a scan called the power eraser. I ran that and it got rid of it. Had another laptop with a similar problem and the power eraser didn't work. Called Norton for their product remote support and deleted the add on/file from the drive. Worst case scenario you can backup your data and use system recovery to return the cpu back to factory condition.
Q: does Dell offer free Operating System CD in case I need to restore everything to original?
A: There should be a program on your computer that will give you the option to create a restore disc. I think it's called dell backup.
Q: can I get windows ,7 instead of 8
A: You would have to buy it separately and install it. Best Buy only wells Windows 8 stuff now.
