Hey, I'm a sucker for ACTION movies. Give me great car chases and I don't care about a plot. And they brought back Michelle Rodriguez (sorely missing from "F&F#5) to match up with our beloved Paul Walker (R.I.P. Buddy, and you weren't even driving...we will miss your personality and acting, and most of all how you never had an attitude that so many actors get stuck up on themselves), so let Dwayne & Diesel keep up the action through this (#6) and "Furious 7," and I'm good to go! Got the whole series on the beautiful designed "Only@Best Buy LIMITED EDITION STEELBOOK" series. A MUST for us collectors. And you'll never have to deal with a cracked blu-ray or DVD case again! RANT on trying to buy these from BEST BUY: Under the great leadership of President Hubert Jolie and continuing with CEO Brad Anderson, the Minnesota leadership brought back the DVD market share they had lost to online stores like Amazon and brought about their OWN online sales and brought back movie customers into the Best Buy physical stores - a ingenious move by Best Buy administration, but a hassle to buyers, especially in Los Angeles, where too many of us are "collectors" versus Redbox renters, and only in L.A. do we spend our hard earned cash on collecting these Steelbook beauties. The SERIOUS PROBLEM that the admin officers stick us with is that the ONLINE store is allocated VERY FEW Steelbooks to sell and ship to us, even if we are willing to pay for shipping. AND JUST AS BAD, each store is provided with a VERY SMALL NUMBER OF STEELBOOKS and the stores are FORBIDDEN by Best Buy POLICY to TAKE ANY ORDERS FOR STEELBOOKS! So even if you have cash in hand, they can't order from a warehouse OR EVEN TRANSFER ONE COPY FROM ANY OTHER STORE IN THE COUNTRY THAT HAS IT IN STOCK!!! Best Buy Administration set a POLICY that NO STORE CAN SHIP STEELBOOKS TO YOU: Best Buy policy requires that YOU HAVE TO PERSONALLY (physically) COME INTO A STORE THAT HAS COPIES, BECAUSE POLICY FORBIDS THE STORE MANAGER FROM SENDING STEELBOOKS TO A STORE NEAR YOU. So when Best Buy uses the word "LIMITED," that also applies to EACH STORE and ONLINE. I am a loyal "Elite Plus" Best Buy customer, but even I had to buy some of these on eBay rather than drive to a store 75 miles away (150 miles roundtrip to a Best Buy store that - if they go by their register versus physically checking the shelves and pulling it to hold for you - may NOT even have the Steelbook by the time it takes to drive there!) So you can cross your fingers and try to get one of these great Best Buy ONLY products - like I did with the "Fast & Furious," except for one of the seven of the series I had to buy off eBay to complete my collection - but popular movies are "Pre-Order" and so they are SOLD OUT from Best Buy's online store. If you get lucky, getting these collectible Steelbooks from Best Buy is the least expensive option - and these are GREAT GIFTS for movie collectors - because many eBay sellers charge more than TWICE what B.B. charges: $40-$100-. But if you are patient, you can get a used Steelbook from eBay for the original price Best Buy charged for a new unwrapped copy. With all that said, kudos to Best Buy President & CEO for getting their market share back. I am hooked on these new Steelbooks (if you couldn't tell from the picture I posted) and another note of caution: Walmart and Target's "Metal" casing is a cheap rip off very different than (Limited Edition) Steelbooks. The "Only@Best Buy LIMITED EDITION STEELBOOK is the best way to get the genuine "Steelbook." Another benefit of Best Buy is that if you can buy them from online, they ship them in protected packing, so not one of the 50 I have are bent or scratched. And if you are willing to wait for a Steelbook release - which includes both blu-ray AND DVD - you'll never have the problem of a plastic case being cracked or broken for the same price as the cheap packing of new releases. Also, Best Buy offers Steelbooks for as low as $9.99, with new releases at $19.99 - $24.99. And they look GREAT on the shelf, much better than trying to read the edge of a blu-ray!:

Pros: The movie itself. Digital cover. Slipcover Cons: Seems as if the 4k was auto generated transfer instead of being shot in 4k. The problem with these F&F soundtracks is that there’s too much overlapped sounds & can’t distinguish the DTS-X effects. Almost no over head effect. You have music tracks, movie score, bangs etc all at once that makes it sound all washed up & that’s in a calibrated 11.2 (7.2.4) system! The 8th part was an improvement. No steel cases like previous releases.

This is by far my favorite fast film. Love the action in it, comedy part is timed right, and the acting is just awesome. The cinematography in its locarions is spot on. The cars are just wow as always, and the storyline is better then some of the other films. This is an action worth the effort, time, and money!

This is another great installment to this movie franchise. Good to see the Hobbs character has come back in this franchise installment. The follow up of the storylines from Part 5 are very interesting. Love all the action sequences, the characters, and the auto racing subculture.

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, and Michelle Rodriguez team up again for some more adrenaline pumping action. This movie takes place after Fast Five. After dealing with being chassed by federal agent Luke Hobbs in the previous movie, Hobbs now finds himself asking Dom and his crew to go to London to help him take down a team of mercenary drivers. Once Dom finds out Letty is still alive he convinces his crew to help Hobbs and help him find Letty on the condition they get full pardons. Once again some of the previous stars through the past Fast and Furious films return, including Tyrese Gibson, (Roman Pearce - 2 Fast 2 Furious) Ludacris (Tej - 2 Fast 2 Furious), Gal Gadot, (Gisele - Fast and Furious) Sung Kang (Han - Tokyo Drift), and Elsa Patakay (Elena) all return for a even more packed Fast and Furious movie. When Toretto and his team join forces with Hobbs (The Rock) you know this is going to one heck of an action packed ride your in for. Hobbs knows only the best drivers can help him get the job done of capturing this criminal (Luke Evans). This movie is even more action packed from start to finish than the last one. Sure there are a few over the top moments as the previous one, but it is still one awesome ride. Just like the original film that started it all, this latest installment will entertain you and keep you on the edge of your seat. Just when you think the movies over they throw in a twist which bring on even more action and drama. I don't want to give away the ending for those who haven't seen it, but be advised to stay for a minute or so after the credits to see what is in store for the next installment, which also ties everything up just perfect and bridging Tokyo Drift to the present day. Also with the addition of Jason S. the next Fast and Furious movie is going to be just as good if not better! Special thanks to Paul and Vin for keeping this franchise alive, because without you guys it wouldn't be the same.
