Frigidaire Gallery 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Induction Range: Take control of your cooking surfaces and treat your family to home-cooked meals. The 5-element induction cooktop gives you more room to boil, simmer and fry while making cleanup easier by heating only the cookware, not the cooktop, eliminating burnt-on spills. The convection oven lets you cook foods evenly on multiple racks while gauging and maintaining your desired food temperature. This smart, powerful functionality comes in a stainless steel package that complements the modern kitchen with elegant style.
A: Hello! The front elements of the range (FGIF3061NF) are designed to handle a griddle evenly. This allows for even cooking on the griddle. No additional requirements need to be completed in order for this feature to operate. We hope this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
A: There are plastic vents on the Frigidaire induction range that stop the range from being pushed flush to the wall. They are about 3/4" deep. After a day or so I no longer noticed the gap. Our counter back-splash is 1" thick and that helps disguise the gap.
A: The cook top burners have numbers 1.5 to 9.5 along with letters like pb for power boil, lo and hi. You can keep the bottom rack attached so when you open the oven door the rack slides out or you can disconnect it so it stays in place. Hope that helps.
Q: What is the height to the cooking surface? I need 36 1/2 inches to match kitchen counter top.
A: The higher outside rim is a bit over 35 1/2 inches; my counter is 35 1/2 inches. But I believe that there are feet on the stove that are adjustable.
Q: Is the glass in the door sealed?
A: Good Afternoon Joanne! The range (FGIF3061NF) door is not sealed. The glass within the door will have bracket and insulation located around. However, the entire door is not sealed. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
Q: Is this smudge proof stainless steel?
A: Yes, the Gallery products of Frigidaire are smudge proof.
Q: Will I have to rewire my wall outlet where I currently have an electric range plugged in?
A: I didn't. It worked on the same outlet as my old stove. They will however make you buy a new cord if they install it.
