Q: Does it come with a charger?
A: Yes, mine came with a USB cord which plugs into the included wall charger.
Q: What is the difference between the Galaxy Tab 3 and the Note?
A: The main differences will be in the specifications of the hardware. The Galaxy Tab 3 has a 1.5 GHz dual-core chip, which is slower than the Galaxy Note's 1.4GHz quad-core processor. The Note also has more RAM than the Galaxy Tab 3.
Q: will it conect to a printer?
A: yes, I connect to mine and my printer is wireless.
Q: With this device, what type of internet service do I need?
A: Your tablet can connect a wireless signal anywhere it's available. At home, it can connect to your wireless router. If you wanted it to connect to the internet while you were on the move, i.e., the car, (assuming you don't have another device that you can turn on the hot spot such as Mi-Fi or a 4G phone) you'd need a "cellular" connection on the tablet. In that case, you'd want to make sure "4G" was listed in the specs, and you'd have to contract monthly access thru a cellular provider such as Verizon or AT&T.
Q: Word, Excel & other work pgms
A: This tablet comes pre-loaded with Polaris Office. This app allows you remote access to view, and edit files from, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and PowerPoint.
Q: Galaxy tab 3 works with 3G or 4G?
A: Neither. Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth 3.0 are possible, but you'll need a carrier model if you want to get wireless connectivity outside of the range of your wireless Internet. Thanks for your interest in Samsung tablets. --Mr.Samsung
Q: Does the 8.0 or 7.0 output a HDMI signal?
A: You can buy a Samsung adapter that would allow you to connect an HDMI cable.
Q: Would I rather buy this or an Apple iPad Mini 16GB?
A: www.cnet.com is a very good site (stands for computer networkers) to read reviews on all the newest tech. They are non-biased and present a good overall review so you can decide for yourself based on your needs.
