A: The glass is slightly tinted so it does provide a bit of protection. However, it's still very clear and see-thru so I wouldn't put it in direct sunlight.

A: Hi - Thanks for considering GE® Wine Center GWS04HAESS! Per the Installation Guide: Do not install where the temperature will go below 55F or above 90F. If the room temperature is below the temperature setting, the unit will not operate (for instance if the room is at 55F and the setting is 60F, the unit will not run).
