A: Hi cbrb- Dryer timer knobs will turn in both directions (clockwise and counter-clockwise) when setting the dry time. Also, it is normal for there to be tension when turning the knob either direction. Keep in touch! Sue
A: Not sure if they will haul away the old dryer. The delivery and haul away were included in the purchase. They require I purchase a new plug for the dryer. The delivery company was on time and extremely fast and professional. They attached the plug, vent hose, and switched the door to best suit our laundry room. They also tested the operation of the dryer and hauled away the old dryer. All in about 20 minutes.
