Q: Hello. The descriptions says there is a temperature sensor. What is this? Thanks.
A: Hi JG- This model does not have a temperature sensor. Select models offer an auto heat sensor that automatically turns the blower on if excess heat builds up around the hood. When doing a lot of cooking and hood has not been turned on, the hood will come on automatically if the temperatures become unsafe. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA

We suggest our GE - 30" Convertible Range Hood - White- Model: JVX5300DJWW, SKU: 5578610. We also offer GE - Profile™ Series 1.7 cu. ft. Convection Over-the-Range Microwave - White.
