Save your money1 Posted by: from: on I purchased an in-home computer installation to assist my father-in-law because I was not going to be in the area to help him with the new computer that I purchased for him. The problems began early with the first being that they did not recognize the order number when he called to schedule. I called them, straightened it out, and received a confirmation number that he could use for scheduling. When they arrived to perform the service, they tried to bill him for the service that I had already paid for. That eventually was settled and they proceeded with the installation. They then refused to set up his email account and would not install Korean script in Windows settings. Now I still have to go and set up his computer for him, which means he has to wait a month to use his new computer. If you are interested in more than having your computer unpacked and plugged in, then you should look elsewhere. $99 for frustration....

WiFi Printer Setup1 Posted by: from: on Made an appointment on Monday to have Agent setup WiFi printer on Thursday between 0800-1200. So at 1000 I call to check and I am told he won't be here till after 1:00!!!! After a 20 minute phone conversation I find out the appointment was entered incorrectly. Entered as a 1200-4:00. Now I am supposed to wait and see "if" an Agent will call and "if" he will be able to show before 1200. So happy I adjusted my days schedule for this. Aren't these people supposed to be computer experts and they can't even correctly enter an appointment. VERY poor customer service.

Then I find out both charges went through the bank. Have been calling customer service for a month and they cannot explain nor find where the extra $249.99 is or why I was charged

So after 2 weeks of trying to figure it all out I decided to go to a different Best Buy in East Hanover NJ today. I was sent to the Geek Squad where I waited no more then 5 minutes where one of the employees, Will, had help me. He showed me everything that I needed to learn and was very nice. I understood everything he explained to me and I was very pleased with his customer service. All of the best buys should run like this one. Thank you!
