Q: Do I turn my lil fridge to a smaller number or higher number to make it colder?
A: Initially you leave on 3 for first couple of hours then set to your preference. The higher the cooler it will be.

A: Yes, the freezer will keep liquids frozen. I live in a desert region, temperature here is extremely hot.

A: Hello KimA - Your refrigerator will automatically maintain the temperature level you select. The temperature control dial has 7 settings plus "0". 1 is the warmest. 7 is the coldest. At first, set the dial to 3 and allow 24 hours to pass before adjusting the temperature to your needs. If food is frozen in the fresh food section in a full size or compact refrigerator: The temperature is set too low. Set a slightly higher temperature. Verify that nothing is blocking the vents where the cold air is coming out, or being sucked in. Check that nothing is blocking air circulation and remove any item that is close to the air vents. A: I read in the manual for my new refrigerator (a full-sized different brand than yours) that the compressor might be affected by voltage variations of 10% or more. [My comment: This is something that might happen if the local utility company cuts back power in hot weather when lots of folks run their air conditioners.]
