Amazing job scream factory
Am so blown away by these transfers the 4k clarity the black levels these are worth the purchase
The Divimax DVD release was decent, but looking at the new transfer Halloween 5 looks great. That said, this is definitely one of the weaker sequels.
Coming out a year after The Return of Michael Myers the crew had zero time to pull together a script which lead to some weird plot points that didn't really get paid off. Pleasence brings it as Loomis, but Harris and Cornell get really shortchanged.
I purchased it to complete my Scream Factory set, but for the casual fan I would stick the bluray.
What more can I say? This is a continuance to the other Halloween series that we all have seen. I especially love the scene where he is broken out of prison by the mystery man to this day people still question who that may have been. I would highly recommend this as it's fully entertaining and Michael keeps his knives sharpened as usual. This is a great movie to watch every year around October 31st.
