To create a registry you need to be signed in to your BestBuy.com® account. If you don't have one, you can create an account. Creating an account is free and also gives you access to My Best Buy® member benefits. Learn more about My Best Buy.
Once you've signed in, there are a few ways to create your Best Buy Wedding Registry.

Please note that adding an item to a registry does not hold or reserve the item, and the price of the item is subject to change. Some items are excluded from our Wedding Registry program.
Your registry will be available until you delete it.
Within your registry, select Share to choose from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest or e-mail.
After signing in to your BestBuy.com account, you can access your registry within the Lists section of your account.
If you would like to update your registry settings or wedding details, select Edit Registry Profile in the upper-right corner of your registry.
Your unique Registry ID helps guests more quickly locate your registry. Whereas searching for a registry by name may return many results, searching by Registry ID will bring you or your guests directly to your registry.
When you or your guests purchase registry items in a store, sales associates will scan the QR code to link the purchase to your registry. This process helps ensure you don't receive duplicate gifts by accurately reflecting which items from your registry have been purchased, as well as allows your gifts to qualify for extended returns and exchanges. The QR codes associated with your registry can be found by clicking your Registry ID link.
If an item on your registry is discontinued, or no longer available, it will be removed from the registry and you will see a notification that includes recommendations for similar items.
Yes. You can delete your registry at any time within your Registry Profile. Please remember that deleting a registry is permanent and you will not be able to access your registry again, nor will it be searchable.
Yes, but the processes for online and in-store purchases differ slightly.
Any item on your registry priced $200 or more will automatically be eligible for group gifting. If guests decide to help buy one of these gifts, they can click a Contribute button and enter the amount they wish to give. We will send an e-gift card for that amount to either you or your guest based on the guest's delivery preference.
Once you have the e-gift card, you can use it toward future purchases from Best Buy. E-gift cards are subject to the E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions.
Your e-gift card has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your printed e-gift card, contact Customer Support immediately. If your e-gift card has not been redeemed or has remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new e-gift card for that value.
E-gift cards have no fees and no expiration date. We recommend that you redeem it soon after you receive it, so you don't forget.
When you create your registry, you are given the option to make your registry searchable through Best Buy and our partner sites.

You can change these settings in your Registry Profile at any time.
Check the MyRegistry.com box during sign up for your Best Buy Wedding Registry or within your Registry Profile. If you are already a MyRegistry.com member, then your Best Buy Registry will synchronize automatically. If you are not yet a member of MyRegistry.com, and you want to synchronize your accounts, then MyRegistry.com should send you an email with a temporary password. Click through the e-mail to activate your account and your Best Buy registry will be synchronized for you.
Syncing your Best Buy registry allows you to organize all of the items you want from Best Buy along with any other items you want in one universal gift list. You will have access to all the features to easily manage your registry all the way through, from adding items, sharing your registry with friends and family, keeping track of purchased gifts all the way to sending thank you notes after your event.
If you add or remove items on your Best Buy Registry, your MyRegistry.com gift list will automatically re-sync to reflect the changes the next time you or your guests visit your registry. It may take up to two minutes for your updates to be reflected.
Please confirm that you have made your Best Buy Registry searchable and that you have already added gifts to it. A private or an empty registry cannot be synchronized. If the registry is still does not appear on MyRegistry.com, contact MyRegistry.com Customer Service.
If you checked the box for The Knot during sign up for your Best Buy Wedding Registry or within your Registry Profile and your registry is still not appearing on The Knot, contact The Knot Customer Service.
To remove your Best Buy registry from the search results on MyRegistry.com and/or The Knot, log into your Best Buy registry and update the settings within your Registry Profile. It may take up to two minutes for these changes to be reflected.
When guests select a shipping address during checkout, we will only show the city and state from the shipping address you provided for your gifts.
If you have items on your registry that require scheduled delivery, guests purchasing the item will not be able to schedule the delivery when they place their order. After they make their purchase, we will contact you within 48 hours by e-mail and phone to schedule delivery.
Yes. You can return or exchange most registry items up to 60 days after they were purchased. See BestBuy.com/Returns for full details.
Once your wedding date has passed, you will receive a coupon for 10% off to use in a single transaction toward items still remaining on your registry, or other items from Best Buy. You can use the coupon for future purchases in store or online. The coupon must be used before the expiration date. Some limitations apply. See BestBuy.com/RegistryCoupon for full details.
The easiest way to find a registry is to search our website, mobile app or in-store kiosk using the first and last name of either person getting married. Your search terms must be an exact match, so be sure you are entering either name correctly. If your search is returning too many results, try adding the wedding date to your search to narrow the results.
You may also search using the Registry ID provided by the couple, which will bring you directly to their registry.
Yes. Registrants will provide us with an address they would like their gifts sent to and you will be able to choose to send gifts directly to that address during checkout.
Yes. During the checkout process online, you will be asked if you want to include a gift message.

For same-day delivery, most e-gift cards are sent within an hour of the purchase transaction. For future delivery, e-gift cards are sent on the morning of the scheduled delivery date.

If a gift is eligible for a Geek Squad Protection Plan, you will be able to select a protection plan for the gift in your cart when purchasing from BestBuy.com or a Best Buy store.
Any plan is transferable to another owner for the product identified by the serial number on the plan. There are no restrictions provided your plan is valid, but a plan cannot be transferred to another product. As the purchaser, you are the owner of the plan. You can transfer your plan to the couple you're buying the gift for during the plan's coverage period, as long as the plan does not have an open claim.
