Q: what replacement bag type do i need for the pet T series heap upright vac model # UH30310?
A: This uses the Hoover type Y bag.
Q: What is the plastic item near the top of the vacuum handle with the yellow insides?
A: Hi Flyingfinn43! The tool located in the handle on the front side of the machine is called the Pet Powered Hand Tool. The "yellow insides" are rubber blades that help grip and pick up pet hair on upholstery. Hope this helps! -Giselle Hoover Customer Care
A: Hi Rudy! The UH30310 is the pet version of the UH30300 and it comes with a longer hose, 12 feet versus 8 feet. It also comes with a specialized pet power brush to get pet hair off of your upholstery and carpets. -Michael, Hoover Customer Care
Q: How do I engage the hose cleaning accessories ??
A: If you look on the back of the vacuum cleaner, down towards the bottom--you will see the hose loop around into a plastic pipe-like fitting. To use an attachment, press down on the silver switch on the pipe assembly that the hose goes into an while doing so--pull up on the hose end. This will release the hose out of the pipe and you can then attach the extra tools to the end that you took out so all of the suction is at your disposal. See illustrations below (they uploaded in wrong order but are marked 1 and 2)
Q: is this vacuum self propelled - forward and reverse?
A: No not self propelled at all.
A: This vacuum comes with a headlight.
Q: Are replacement bags hard to find and are they expensive hepa type y or carbon hepa type y
A: Hi Fuzzie569p! The WindTunnel T-Series HEPA Bagged Upright takes a Type Y bag. You can use the hepa, carbon, or regular paper bags as long as they are Hoover Type Y bags. The price will vary upon the retailer. Bags are always available through Hoover. Hope this helps! -Karissa, Hoover Customer Care
