A: This item comes with a DVD/CD drive.
A: I purchased the same laptop just before Christmas. It is a fast laptop with the i5 chip dependinng on your intended usage. If you are a gamer, perhaps you'd be happier with a laptop that has an i7 chip and more memory (my laptop has just 6Gb memory). I like it because it was inexpensive and has a built in CD/DVD drive. I only use it for surfing the Web and some minor Word and Excel tasks. It is so much lighter than my old laptop (an HP that was 8 years old),which makes it good for traveling. It has the capability of video editing (which I normally do on my desktop) but may take a bit longer for the rendering phase. I hope that helps, good product for the price.

A: No, Bluetooth is a hardware component that this laptop lacks. You can purchase a Bluetooth adapter add on that plugs into the USB port which will connect to nearby Bluetooth devices.

A: Not sure on the webcam. I'll be testing it out later today. HP Spec sheet just says "Front-facing VGA Webcam with integrated digital microphone". It runs Windows 10, and has built-in wireless (B/G/N). To connect to a wireless printer, you typically need both the printer and the laptop to be connected to your homes network/wifi. Then the laptop can "See" the printer on the network and print to it. Also typically requires a software install on your laptop (drivers), although Windows 10 is fairly good at auto-detect/ auto-load. I do not know if you can directly link the laptop to the wireless printer without connecting to your homes wifi/ network. But your printer should also have a USB connection and the laptop has several USB ports. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this a good computer for my wife to write her I E P. On? She is a special education teacher
A: I bought mine because I wanted something to use for writing, and so far I'm very happy with it. The keyboard is nice and the layout is less cramped than my old 15 inch model which is good for my old, fat fingers. If your wife is going to be using this at a desk, I might recommend a wireless mouse. Since I'm not a touch typist, I suffer from 'lazy' wrists and wind up inadvertently swiping the touch pad now and then. So using a wireless mouse keeps things cleaner when at my desk.
A: No, but a wireless mouse works wonderfully and better. My wife has a touchscreen and you will be cleaning the screen hourly
