A: The most basic difference between the 8610 and the 8620 is the 8610 will not copy two-sided from the paper-feed tray. Both printers will print two-sided, but only the 8620 will automatically scan both sides of original document(s). Q: is this a good printer even if you use it rarely ?
A: Its the best. Because of the sealed ink cartridges it uses instead of sponge bottom ones. Sealed cartridges can last a lot longer between uses without drying because they are only open when the printer is in use. There is a joke here about Sponge Bottom (Bob) Square Box (pants) cartridges but I can't make it out. lol
