A: Screen resolution is determined by the monitor. The only thing that would be determined by the tower would be if it had a good graphics card which would be needed more for a HAD monitor. If the tower has the plug for your monitor, it's all based on the monitor. But if you have a monitor with an HDMI, you would need to make sure your tower has that plug type
A: It's perfectly fine to place it either way. It won't damage the computer as long as it is not on when you are moving it.

A: yes, it comes with a warranty it says and I think best buy probably let's you return it. The power cable is included as well as a very basic keyboard and mouse which was awesome at this price point. Also, if you post a review they give you the option of two prizes given by the refurb company.
