A: You can't put music on it, but you can receive calendar, text, phone call, and email notifications. You can't make phone calls, but you can swim and shower with the watch with no problems. It uses connected GPS so it links up to your phone when running, walking, or biking.
A: No, not specifically a choice you can select. After 2 full days of continuous wearing, literally, the battery has only decreased from 100% to 80%... meaning 10% per day. That equals 10 days with normal used (few dozen notifications per day, 1 alarm per day, continuous HR, sleep tracking, and 30 mins of workout per day). Therefore, "standby" likely means if you take it off and don't wear it at all... thus "standing by"... it can sit there and still hold a battery charge for a month. Since it seems to last 10 days with normal usage, I can see how 30 days of zero usage would still have a charge. LOL
Q: Do any of the watch face options include a second hand?
A: Yes, the Huawei fit can have a second hand displayed on it's face. (SP)
A: Yes, it will absolutely count steps on the watch itself, independent of your phone. There is no onboard GPS, though, so without your phone you will not see a map of where you walked. But the steps themselves? Yes, that is all tracked on the watch, stored on the watch, and can be synced to the app when you get back near your phone.
A: Yes. Your battery will get better dependent upon which mode you have the watch set to. If you keep your watch in "standby mode", you can reach up to 30 days of usage! If you have your watch paired or connected to your phone, you will get about 6 days of active use with the Huawei Fit. If you have any other questions, let us know. Thanks! (NS)
Q: Sorry that I didn't understand. The band are 20mm or 18mm? Thanks a lot
A: The watch has a long strap model and a short strap model. The long strap model fits the following range of wrist sizes: 140–210 mm. The short strap model fits the following range of wrist sizes: 130–210 mm. The band width is 18 mm. (NS)
Q: Will the black version be available in small? If so when will it be available?
A: I also wanted a small version for the band. But when my large version arrived I find the watch is actually smaller than how it looks online. So the large version of the band actually serves me better.
A: I thought the same thing at first... 20mm for the large and 18mm for the small. Not true. I bought the large and the lugs can accommodate ONLY 18mm width pins. I am sure the small is therefore also 18mm. Since the stock band "flares out" beyond the lugs... actually allowing the band to be "thicker" like a 20mm band would be... that is probably where the media got confused and said "either 18 or 20mm". You can see from my pic that the band is broader than the section that goes into the lugs... meaning the lugs are only 18mm... but the band widens to 20mm. Bottom line: the part where the pins fit into the lugs is only 18mm.
