A: Hello Andy, the usb cable is about 3 feet long, its a nice simi thick cable. I bought this speacker for my 10 year old daughter and she's pretty rough on cables, she hasn't broke the cable yet after 2 months of everyday use.
Q: Can I play my itunes library on my imac on this speaker with using my airport wifi?
A: The iBT74 connects to your device via bluetooth. If you iMac is bluetooth compatible, whatever audio is played will come through the speaker. WiFi is not used with this speaker.
Q: Can I add more bass. the iHome IBT70 seem to have a better bass sound
A: The iBT374 has 20 watts of audio output power. The bass can be adjusted on the connected device. This is usually located in the settings. Depending on your phone model, the menu can be Sound and Quality Effects (android) and EQ on most iOS device.
Q: does it play music direct from USB?
A: No the iBT74 connects to other devices via bluetooth.
