Q: Can this be used to charge Ipads and Iphones?
A: I use it daily to charge two cell phones and two iPads. It has a max output per port of 2.4 amps, but the entire unit has a limit of 4.2 amps.
A: This 'would' work for that, but it is a piece of junk and won't last. The one I bought only lasted 8 months. If there were no concerns about the quality or longevity of the device, it would work. This device 'should' put out 4 amps shared across the 4 hubs. So you could theoretically power four 1-amp devices at the same time. I just tossed mine in the trash, it won't charge 1 device at 1 amp after 8 months.
