Q: Does the hdmi port feed OUT or is it an INPUT port?
A: The HDMI feeds out as I'm currently using a Micro HDMI cable to transfer movies from the tablet to my TV.
Q: does it get google play store
A: Yes.
Q: what is the RAM on this thing? cause 1Gb would not be enough, imo.
A: It has one gig of memory. It does a decent job of running Windows 10, word processing using Open Office, checking email, browsing the internet, and watching Netflix. I use mine with an external keyboard I got with an android tablet, and have used a USB OTG cable to use full size keyboards and mice.
Q: How long do battery charges last?
A: around 3 hours reliably
A: Yes. It's a micro usb. For normal usb, a simple adapter will do. I have used it for testing or using wired keyboard, mouse or thumb drive etc. It has Bluetooth so it works with Bluetooth devices s well.
Q: I thought it was a hybrid...android so i could download Google apps and games how can i do this ?

A: Driver for microphone is missing or hardware is damaged. Install driver from insignia support site. Or call the tech support if the driver doesn't work. If this happened after a windows update then good luck figuring out
