Q: Is this case compatible with Macboook air 13'' also?
A: No. I'm pretty sure it is compatible with the MacBook Pro 13" with retina display only due to cut outs for ports the Pro has and Air doesn't. However, I believe I did see another version of this that was for the Air so keep looking and read descriptions carefully.
Q: Will this case fit a MacBook Pro model A1708?
A: My opinion is NO - it won't fit. Only because the ports are different and these cases seem to be very specific to each MB model. But I don't have definitive info to support that. I have two different MBs and two versions of this case and they are different and not swappable.
A: I would assume not; I looked and didn't see any warranty papers.
