Q: Will this work in the Philippines? to charge us laptop, phone , etc? thanks
A: yes it should work fine
Q: will this product convert the international power to US 110?
A: No, this is purely a plug adapter that allows various foreign plugs to be used in the USA for dual voltage electronics such as cell phones. US voltage is 110/120, while most foreign voltage is 220//240. You must obtain an AC voltage converter that converts the foreign 220/240 to 110/120. The converter will accept your US plug, but depending upon the type of male plug on the converter, you might need to obtain an adapter from the converter to various foreign receptacles. For at least 25 years I have used a dual converter travel set through out Asia and Europe without any problems. In fact I just returned from a European trip that included Ireland.
Q: will this fit in a round recessed outlet like they have on cruise ships?
A: Yes, it should just fine.
A: No it will not, it can't handle high voltage. My wife was very disappointed.
A: Yes
A: It has different working parts, so I think it will be helpful but I am not sure
Q: Does this work in Japan? What configuration do I need?
A: Japan uses American plug configuration
