Disappointing Bluetooth Headphones
Posted by: newtoreviews from: on
These were the first bluetooth headphones I ever tried. I purchased these to use at the gym to keep the wire from getting caught on the equipment I was using. When I received them, I was very optimistic; the headphones were well packaged, they fit my ears very well, and they just looked slick.
And then I turned them on.
The sound was absolutely horrendous. Tinny, bright, and despite fitting my ears well and having the volume maxed out, I could still barely hear my music. I don't consider myself an audiophile, which is why what I heard left me especially surprised.
It's a shame, because everything about the headphones was promising. To be fair, they are helpful if you're just looking for some ambient background music and still need to hear your surroundings. But if you want to drown those sounds out and be immersed in your music, these are not the headphones for you.

After returning my third set I got the JBL reflect minis, figured I can always return them however my quest is over. Upon trying them I couldn't believe my ears, nice crisp sound and heart pounding bass and loud and the volume wasn't even all the way up! The set is small and lightweight and fit like a glove, comfortable and can't feel I'm wearing them. I had come to the realization that no set was gonna be perfect but JBL proved me wrong..Thanks guys!

Very good wireless set, but has some cons...
Posted by: GomezX from: on
Overall the set is on point with their goal, it has 8 hours of battery life which is unheard from such a small set of headphones. One con is that the actual ear piece sticks out of your ear quite a bit but for the same reason, the battery and components has to be somewhere. The set is all overall light & so you'll never notice it & the biggest complaint on these wireless sets is getting the perfect fit. On these I never needed the wings, I just put on the medium set of fittings without the wings and bam! worked like a charm. The biggest con of this was the build, It's on par with JBL.. however i can see it's low end on some parts like the controls. The buttons where really responsive but for iPhones in general, you can't bring up "Seri" & you can't skip back a track. Also the controls have a little face plate, it came off and i could see all the internals. The circuitry is just sitting there ready to get all salty. Definitely not good if your sodium levels are a little high. I've had mine for about a month now and I'm pretty happy with the set, the face plate is no big deal, i mean it's technically an easy fix just a small dot of superglue and done.. don't worry jbl i got you.. the sound is good, base could be a little deeper but overall a clear sound. can't ask more from a 100 dollar pair of buds. hope this helps..

Great workout headphones
Posted by: Zarqr from: on
I sweat like nobody's business and have had multiple headphones go out on me... These are excellent and hold up to a sweat superstar like me! Also the battery life is superior, I forget when the last time I charge them..
I also hate headphones that hurt my ears, these have sum really good fitting technology that squeeze right in and keep the noise out.
Only negative thing I can say is they don't sound like a huge pair of headphones, so if you want high end sound this won't do it but what you get is clear and is better than the average.

Comfort with minor flaws
Posted by: Tommy from: on
I've been going to gym with these since Xmas.
Thumbs up for:
- Perfect fit to my ears. They don't move during workouts
- Sound quality and noise isolation good enough
- Battery life
- The cable connecting earpieces is too "sticky" material. Once your neck sweats a bit, the cable starts to stick to skin.
- BT range seems really short. I use Spotify through mobile phone as music source and need to keep phone no further than in my pocket to get clear, non-disturbed playback.

Good for working out

Great sound and stays in place very well. Quite comfortable but no playback control... It has a mic but you can't do things like access siri on iphone. Also no ability to skip tracks

Reflect mini be
Posted by: Lonnie from: on
The Reflect mini bt is a solid product that is comfortable and delivers great sound. This is my first wireless ear buds so I did my research online and in store. I was told that this product was worth the money and would work well and they were right! After awhile I forget I'm even wearing them and can move around without wires. I haven't tried running with them yet but that is not what I bought them for. Pairing between phone, tablet, and pc was simple. One issue I did have on pc was that I had to move my usb BT to the front for consistent sound so it does make me wonder about the range or need for line of sight. This is not much of an issue though for what I bought it for because the source device will always be close. If you are looking for a good set then this would be a good choice with no regrets.

These are so not worth the time nor money. Failed to last after 1st use and had to return and purchase Bose earphones. Usually satisfied with JBL products, but this one was NOT a winner in my book.
