Q: How does sound bar handle regular broadcasts? (just talking with no music)
A: I use mine for news broadcasts all the time. i am not sure how they do it but voices and talking sound very very good. of course this is just my opinion, but i returned a couple other soundbars that did not sound good at all for this. its very well balanced in my opinion.
A: The sub-woofer can be placed up to 50 feet from your speaker. It has its own on off switch and will sync with the speaker when you turn on the TV it is connected to.
Q: Can the manual switch on the sub-woofer be left in the on position?
A: Yes. In fact that is what you are supposed to do. The system will automatically turn on when it senses a signal from either the analog or digital inputs and automatically go into standby mode after 10 minutes of no signal.
Q: When watching regular TV, the volume increases during commercials. How can this be fixed?
A: Advertisers do that intentionally to draw attention to their advert, there is nothing that can be done other than turning down the volume.
A: It is not that tall at all. About 4 inches tall. Slightly taller than most tv frames. Only an issue if your tv doesn't have a stand or mount.

Q: I don't have a smart phone. Does the sound bar work without Bluetooth?
A: Yeah don't worry you don't need a phone to use this sound bar. It connects to your tv with an optical cable or component cables. It uses Bluetooth to communicate with the subwoofer. Otherwise Bluetooth is a feature for streaming audio from another device but it will still work when directly connected to your tv. I hope this helps you.
