  Nice mellow effort from Gregg's first solo release. Good covers and a few uptempo numbers compliment his mood after Duane's untimely passing

  More Great Greg Allman w/ a Little Allman Brothers

  The music is timeless and Greg's voice incredible. The rhythym section sets the tone from the first track and keeps the litener tied through the end. The later tracks hold up as real roots rock standards deserving of greater acknowledgement via radio. The disc could have done without another version of "Midnight Rider" (although it is the original track listing) and "Will the Circle be Unbroken" drags. A few extras from the early seventies recording sessions would have been nice along with better liner notes. I still by CD's for the content as well as the music. One of the better Greg Allman solo records!
