A: Thank you for your interest in our products. This is an electric heater. It should be plugged directly into a 120V wall outlet.
Q: Can this be used in a bedroom
A: Without a doubt. Although the units have overheat protection only use these heaters where nothing will restrict the airflow at the front or rear of the unit. Keep the heater on a flat surface and do not use extension cords. I would not recommend it being used in bedrooms where babies or young children sleep for their safety.

A: Yes, and it also turns the fan off.

A: Yes. This unit has a fan that I have found to be far quieter than the six or seven various heaters I've used in the last 19 years.
