Q: does the Red Lenovo Laptop have a good drive for notes and can it download word Processor?
A: While it only has 32GB of storage (with about 9GB being taken by Windows 10), that is enough for thousands of basic word\powerpoint\excel documents. You can also purchase MicroSD card to expand storage even further. MicroSD cards go up to 128GB in size. It does include a 1 year subscription of Office 365 Home, which includes Office 2016, which has Microsoft Word. After the 1 year subscription expires, it costs $9.99 per month or $99 per year to continue the subscription, or you can use a free alternative like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
Q: How long is the battery life?
A: I've been getting between six and seven hours on average, including a lot of Internet use, Pandora, and even videos. Never had a fully functioning PC with anything like this kind of battery life before. I'm sure it would be even longer battery life if I didn't use so much Internet.
Q: Is the AC power cord included?
A: Yes the A/C Power Cord is included. It works great and has a long cord to fit almost anywhere to the wall or outlet. Not heavy at all! Very lightweight.
Q: How do you save eMMC flash storage?
A: Use the micro SD port to add storage. I currently use a 64G micro SD card. Plus, you have the ability to change out and place another mirco SD card into the slot. Store items on the micro SD rather than the internal memory.
Q: Does this have Office loaded?
A: Yes, Microsoft Office 365 is installed, with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access, and One Note. You'll need to activate the subscription, of course. You also receive a full terabyte (1000 gigabytes) of storage space on OneDrive for a year.
A: It can stream 1080p Netflix and Youtube. Other services may or may not work.
Q: Can I add a mouse? I don't like track pads.
A: Yes, it has USB ports on the side so you can easily connect a mouse, printer, etc. as needed.
