Q: How does the black stainless steel compare to regular stainless as far as showing fingerprints?
A: Truthfully, the black stainless will smudge, too, but I love the look of the black stainless and I usually take a clean cloth and wipe away any smudges. I'm very happy with the black stainless.
Q: What are the dimensions of this refrigerator. I am restricted to a 36 in wide appliance .
A: I have a 36" cubby and the fridge fit just fine. About 1/16 of an inch on each side. BTW, the fridge is great so far.
A: Although this does not directly answer your inquiry about having the LG - 22.7 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Black Stainless Steel, Model # LMXC23746D mixed with regular Stainless Steel appliances, it may help to know that The Balck Stainless Steel is a few shades darker than regular Stainless Steel and that the Black Diamond finish is more glossy than shiny, and more reflective than Stainless Steel. It actually has a base of stainless steel that is coated with the darker hue, then topped with a nanoceramic coating that makes the surfaces of the appliances more smudge-resistant and easier to clean...^IFV
Q: Red the vegetable drawers really too small and cumbersome? Thanks.
A: The drawers are smaller than you would typically find in many refrigerators (even smaller ones - we had a side by side that had a two drawers that were stacked, not side by side and they were much bigger). I think in this French door refrigerator the vegetable drawers were a design trade-off. If they had put in two drawers rather than three (two "wider"; one "narrower" middle drawer) you would have to open both French doors to use the drawers. As designed, you can open one door and get to one drawer. There are drawbacks to this - for example we buy the big containers of spinach common in many groceries and it will not fit in any of the drawers. Nevertheless, we love this refrigerator.
Q: Does the ice maker use filtered water to make ice cubes?
A: It has a filter that you will need to change every 3-6 months, so the water and ice are filtered by the fridge. If you already filter your water the filter can be bypassed

A: No it is not
Q: Are the hinges hidden or exposed? Can someone add a photo?
A: If you really look you can barely see it on the bottom of the door, but you really have to look. If you're concerned about them standing out, don't be.
