Q: What does "Dual Icemaker" really mean? Does that mean I get double the amount of ice and if that's true, where is the ice held?

A: You get crushed ando cubed ice in the front of the refrigerator. However, there is a separate icemaker down in the freezer that makes and stocks more cubed ice. It can be turned off if you prefer.

A: The ice cubes are not half moon shape. They are smaller with a flat bottom and a slight pyramid shape. I like the size because it is smaller, see photo.

A: Removing the doors off the LG 24.1 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Black stainless steel, MOdel # LFX25973D when it is necessary to get it through a narrow opening when necessary is the recommended procedure and does not void your warranty. However, if the door is scratched or dented in the process, that would not be covered under warranty since cosmetic damage is not covered under warranty...^IFV

Q: We have a Samsung that does not dispense ice and water when the other door is open - drives me crazy - Do LG's do this too

A: The doors have to be closed to dispense ice or water but the fridgidare gallery you can dispense and open the freezer/fridge at the same time.

Q: Can I purchase the ice maker for the freezer drawer? If so where?

A: It will fill the ice tray in the freezer automatically unless you don't want it too then just turn the switch off
