This washer requires too much home maintanence.

wiping the door and seals was an acceptable job. But needing to put on rubber gloves to use bleach to clean the seals regularly and draining and cleaning the bottom tube only 3 weeks into use are over the top. Washing clothes has become a big job rather than a way to clean clothes simply.

The rubber around the door is very stinky. U have to clean and wipe the washer after usung otherwise the manual said it might get moldy? So not good... then u have to drain manually a small drain at the bottom otherwise in the long run, it might overflow... too much work! Again this is in the manual that u have to do every after ur wash... too much work!

The first machine leaked after 2 or 3 washes. There was always water in the drum after the wash. I could squeeze water out of my clothes. The washer was replaced with a second machine that also did not drain all the water out of the drum. Again the clothes were dripping wet. The third try was with another LG that was a step down, less cycles. So far it is working well. I have done about 6 loads. The customer service staff on the phone were helpful except for one person. The sales staff at the store were very nice as well.

Leaky washer

I returned this item twice for small leak at front- door seal on delivered unit different from seal on display at store. Eventually exchanged for Whirlpool which is not as quiet but doesn't leak.

Washer/dryer is perfect

I loved the LG Washer/Dryer that I bought from Best buy. This is
the perfect machine that I want for a long time, loved the front load
because I can reach the clothes so easily, door is side by side with
the dryer. Also I can wash my cloth economically, my clothes smell
so clean and dry so fast. Finally I liked the sound of bells when its done.

We love our new washer. Great features, easy loading of clothing and detergent. Have set it up stacked with the matching dryer to save space. Love that the door stays "latched" in an slightly open position. We have had no problems with odor left behind.

I'm very happy with how this washer cleans. Hubby is a mechanic on a dairy farm and comes home covered in grease and manure everyday and this washer gets his clothes clean. We also have cats and dogs and it does a great job cleaning their bedding. I can washer our king sized comforter in it too. Very happy we bought this washer.

There was still a lot of soapy water in the machine after the whole cycle of washing,rinsing and extremely high speed spinning. It just couldn't drain properly. The clothes were soaking wet and I had to squeeze the water out by hand. Called LG tech guy, they couldn't fix the problem. They said it was probably because I put too much detergent in it, but that was not the case. The machine will have water left even with no clothes in it. I regret I didn't read the two reviews that had given 1 star. We had the same problem. .Had to return it :(

Good wash

Pros: The washer is very good. The price was excellent. Quality seems very good. Many (too many?) functions to choose from
Cons: a bit noisy, takes longer to wash than my old washer. Maybe it weighs the load before washing. Must clean door rubber seal after every wash, empty pump after every week.(not sure if that is good or bad)
I have had it for under a month if something elese comes up I will update.
