Great Keyboard and Mouse
Posted by: Crief from: East Texas on
I have had this mouse and keyboard for about a month now and have no complaints. I am using it on a computer that is connected via HDMI to my flatscreen TV to play movies and music through my sound system. I was looking for one that had a long range and boy this one does. I have gone to the back of my house and controlled my iTunes with the keyboard through 3 walls and over 35 feet away.

Battery life three years for keyboard, two for mouse. The wife uses it for a living and she loves it, lots to figure out with extras, but dont have to if you don't want too. So easy to hook up , it took longer to disconnect the old one, then to hook up the new one. GREAT PRODUCT

Great combo pack
Posted by: GoHoosiers from: Indianapolis on
Purchased this in need of a keyboard and mouse to go along with my work laptop. Set-up was nearly instant, as windows detected the drivers and installed them automatically and I was using it within 30 seconds of hook up. I did however install the software which allows you to see the battery life in each the keyboard and mouse. Also a very quiet typing keyboard with a lot of features and 2 different settings for height angle. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice quiet keyboard with easy installation and a reasonable price.

This set is everything I wanted in a desktop set. First and foremost it works as described and advertised. Secondly, it is comfortable and easy to use. Thirdly, it is reliable. Everytime I use either piece of hardware, it always works smoothly and easily. One particular feature that "put the icing on the cake" were the individual switches on the underside of each peripheral, used to turn off the battery poer to help conserve it's energy.Hence, to last longer than any I have used so far. Which is yet another special feature of this product. Finally, the set is stylish. Glossy black, with smooth lines. Each button and key is right there at your fingertips to perform in a split second. Awsome product and I highly reccomend this this. And oh, did I mention the price? :)

Great overall comfort; had issues with connection
Posted by: Jeff222 from: FL on
I recently bought this product thinking I could kill 2 birds with one stone. Mission accomplished, for the most part.
After installation, I ran into some issues in which the keyboard and mouse would lose connection to the receiver. After checking my driver and reading the troubleshooting from Logitech, I came to the conclusion the interference was due to my wireless network antenna. Logitech recommends keeping the receiver 8" away from other electronics; a difficult feat for some PC layouts.
I ended up using the USB extender (which is included) to route the receiver up to my desk space right in front of the keyboard and mouse. After making that adjustment, I haven't had any lag or connection issues; however, I don't exactly feel like I have a wireless setup since I now have to remain so close to the receiver.
The fix I described works for me since I'm on a desktop and don't expect to be moving around too much, but this products' interference issues would be a disaster for a laptop where the wireless card/antenna is very close to the USB ports. Hopefully, they can find a fix for the interference issues since just about everything in the house is going wireless.
In summary, a great looking/feeling/easy to operate combo as long as wireless network cards/antennas aren't nearby (<8").

Excellent Features & Functions
Posted by: from: Hesperia, California USA on
The list of available functions are intuitive and laid out very well.
Not accustomed to using a curved keyboard of late, the shift, Windows and control keys required several days to become familiar with, as upon initial use, I was typing the wrong keys when attempting to perform short cuts, but now that I am familiar with the placement of those keys, workflow is much quicker and more natural.
The keys are relatively quite. For a fast typer and one who works with live audio and video, this was one of many welcomed attributes. The soft palm pad provides comfort and just enough grip to keep your palms in place.
A few of the function keys could have been made to have their own button, but then again, it is rare that I use them. The overall keyboard could be slimmer, even with the audio and other buttons remaining in place. There is a lot of wasted space at the top of the keyboard, where the audio controls are located. Elminating this wasted space, would slim the keyboard down just enough to allow the keyboard to fit within my soft Ogio brief case.
Battery life is impressive on the keyboard and mouse. I kept them on nearly every day throughout the month I have owned it and have yet to burn through the batteries. The option to turn each of separately is great when one of them is not in use.
The mouse is precise and equally ergonomic. The overall feel is amid the best I have owned.
For the features and functionality, I would be willing to spend much more than I spent on this package, but it was considerably cheaper than others in its class. Thanks.

Good Keyboard/Mouse Combo
Posted by: Dihm from: Wichita, KS on
The keyboard is very comfortable, the design takes some getting used too though. But once you do its a great keyboard. The mouse is very sleek and makes a satisfying click sounds when you push a button. Overall I'm very pleased aesthetically with this product.

Mouse connection issues
Posted by: maffman from: on
When I got my product home, I plugged it in right away and the software was installed automatically and within seconds it was ready to use. However, also right away I was having problems with the mouse being 'jumpy' or 'laggy'. So after this happened I tried plugging the USB from the back of my computer to the front, didn't help; I tried taking away my mousepad and using it on my flat desk, didn't help; so I ended up just switching back to my wired mouse.
On the plus side, the keyboard is comfy and very quiet. So for the keyboard, I would give it 4-5 stars, but the mouse, probably 1-2 as it makes it very difficult to do anything. So overall:
- Keyboard is comfortable
- Many defined and customizable buttons such as: application switcher, zoom button, pictures, music, media center, calculator, and power button; additional functions that you must hold the function (Fn) button down to use.
- All buttons are completely customizable and can be turned off if you wish. Also, caps lock, windows button, num lock, and insert buttons can be disabled.
- Mouse is also comfortable
- Mouse also has customizable side buttons
- All wireless
- Fairly good price
- Jumpy mouse (most likely connection issues); unusable in my case
- Wave design may not be for everybody
So overall, I have no problems with the keyboard but because of the problems with the mouse, it kind-of ruined it for me. I'm a little disappointed, usually Logitech is reliable.

Best Keyboard & Mouse I've Used Ever
Posted by: OregonJeff from: Portland, Oregon on
I've been using this wireless keyboard and mouse combo for six months now and it's the most comfortable keyboard and mouse set I've used in ten years. I use them for eight to ten hours per day. My Office Manager bought a MicroSoft set and returned them and joined the Logitech club. I like that the "wireless widget" is so small it can stay in my notebook and I can take the mouse with me without having to change a thing. It's comfortable, easy to use, and so far very durable. Enjoy, -Jeff (Portland, OR)
