TV has ruined it
Because this movie has been clipped so many times to be able to show on TV, it is very damaged. Many of the clipping have been lost over the years, so the movie will lock on a scene, while the voices continue on. This is because the only parts of some of the movie are the sound tracks. This was a wonderful movie, and honestly there was nothing that needed to be clipped for tv, yet it was done so, because of time.
What a real lose... This is the only reason I would not recommend this movie. It was once a very good movie to see, now the only way they could restore it, takes so much away.
My favorite Frank Capra movie. Based on novel. Restoration shows where filmed version updated. Original score, with seven minutes of film unrecoverable (photo stills used).

A true collectors Item
Lost Horizon the original. Many lost scenes but the dialogue with pictures ties it all up nicely. Great Story with some excellent acting.
