Q: Phone call
A: It will initiate phone calls, and answer your phone but you'll have to use the 'handset' unless you are using headphones and a mic. The watch does not work as a speakerphone. It has a mic for voice commands only, and does not have a speaker.
Q: What is the difference between the 46mm and the 42mm version?
A: The only difference is the diameter of the watch itself. The displays are the same an have the ability to show the same watch faces. I believe the 42mm watch uses the 20mm watch bands while the 46mm watch uses the 22mm bands. I have the 46mm watch and it looks great, but I also have larger wrists. I suggest going to the store if you can and trying each on to see which fits your wrist best.
A: The second generation is officially supported by iOS; you do not need an Android device at all. All iPhones from the 5 up are supported by select Android Wear devices (including the Moto 360 second generation). To check and see if your device is compatible, go to this site from your device: https://www.android.com/wear/check/
