Q: WILL IT WORK WITH TIME WARNER

A: Yes, it will work with Time Warner Cable. I used this modem to replace the one from them and it works great and I'm saving 8 bucks a month in modem rental fees on my bill.

Q: Is this modem compatible with COMCAST?

A: Absolutely. I use it on Comcast internet, connected to a wifi router, and it works great. In fact, it works far better than the rental modems from Comcast, and saves $$.

Q: will this modem be able to replace comcasts arris tm 722g

A: This modem is compatible with Comcast/Xfinity. I use Comcast and the modem works fine attaining very close to maximum speeds in a recent speed check. It is listed on Comcast's list of supported modems so you shouldn't have any problems using it with Comcast.

Q: must the modem remain vertical or can it be laid horizontally?

A: The modem is designed to be vertical with the foot pads on the bottom. However, only one side of the modem is vented to I don't why you couldn't lay it down on the non-vented side.

Q: is it compatible with Windows 8?

A: Absolutely,exactly what O.S. is,with or with out a router.hooked it up both ways.

Q: With the Motorola SB6121 Modem, does it offer a wireless router, or is it one that has to stay plugged into a computer?

A: If you wish to connect multiple devices to this modem, then they will need to be hard-wired directly to the unit or networked through a separate router.

Q: Will this router work with Comcast Blast?Comcast recommends SB6141 but I am not really sure why because this model has 172 down and 131 up.

A: I don't have Blast, but on the compatibility list, it isn't listed, so I would say no. Here's the link the to the compatibility list, http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/. Select your speed tier and it will list all compatible modems.

Q: Will this modem support digital phone?

A: Yes it will. I have one on my current network and it works fine.
