Great Surf Movie
Aussie indie flick "Newcastle" is a coming of age story starring Lachlan Buchanan, as the angry young man who dreams of a better life led by waves and surfboards, while his older brother life slowly spins out of control in his post-surfing glory days.
This film is a perfect example of the old saying "boys will be boys," but is done in a beautiful fashion. The guys have their conflicts, girl issues, family issues, reckless injuries, and undressed rowdy behavior. Think of it as a more realistic version of "American Pie's" antics.
