Q: Can you add hot coffee to the blender to make a latte?
A: Hello NJLatte, We do not recommend blending any hot liquids in this blender for safety reasons. Once you put the blade cover on, the cup is air tight. There is no way for the steam to escape safely. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

Q: What is the weight of the base and a small cup? Can I Pack in a bag for air travel?
A: I do not know the exact weight but can tell you that my wife flies a lot and takes her blender every time she flies. She packs it in her suitcase and there has not been a problem yet.
Q: Are the cups dishwasher safe?
A: Yes. The cups, lids, and blades are all dishwasher safe. The base never gets dirty for me, but if it does, it's a solid piece that you can easily wipe clean with a wet cloth.
Q: Does it blends vegetables like carrots good or the pieces left are too big?
A: Yes it can, but be careful not to burn out the motor. I have burnt my motor out using this ninja in less then two weeks. I make about 3-5 protein shakes a day for working out. I recommend going with the BL660 models for chopping up vegetables.
Q: can i buy just the cups at best buy?
A: It seems that the cups are definitely available online, however the store may be a different story, your best bet is to checck online if it's available and if not, then just order it online
